We've Got It All Figured Out... For Now

“I loved that vintage mixed media piece,” I beamed as Kylee and I were walking back to our room after a full day in an art gallery.

“That one with the paint dripping?” She questioned while unlocking the door.

“Uh-huh. That was gorgeous!” I smiled. “I may just have to break in and steal it.”

“Yeah, I’ll aid and abed,” Kylee giggled along with me.

“Hey, I don’t want my wifey going to jail now,” A husky voice said as we flipped on the light.

The second the room lit up, we saw the ole’ otter todder potter sitting in a chair. Kylee shouted his name and ran over to him and covered his face in kisses as he let out a few chuckles while holding her.

“Where are the kids?” Ky asked.

“Mason is with Tanner and Jayden is with my parents. I just couldn’t go this long without seeing you,” Todd grinned.

“Now we can be together in the city of love,” Kylee smiled along with him.

“Oh great,” I mumbled while slipping off my shoes and plopping down in an empty chair.

“Aw Kirstie,” Kylee cooed. “Are you not happy to see my hot Toddie?”

“No frankly because now I have put up with you two making out constantly and Kylee will be too infatuated with Todd to hang out with me,” I pouted.

“Don’t worry, I brought you a buddy to hang out with,” Todd rolled his eyes.

“It better not be another snake,” I shot at him while adding a finger point.

”A snake?” Ky asked.

“Yeah, he gave me a snake for my birthday a long time ago,” I groaned.

“It started crawling out of the box a few times while I was trying to wrap it. Seeing the look on her face and how loud she screamed was worth it,” Todd laughed.

“I hate you,” I said, trying to be serious but my laughs came through shortly after.

“You won’t when you see your little fluffy buddy,” He grinned.

“Aw, did you get her a teddy toddie bear?” Ky teased.

“I sure hope not. A teddy bear – cute. A teddy toddie bear – not cute,” I replied.

“It’s under the covers on your bed, go look,” Todd snickered while giving me a shove toward the bed.

I rolled my eyes at him before going to the edge of the bed and pulling the covers off. As I did so, I saw a familiar baby face staring back up at me, smiling oh so cutely.

”JOSHIE!” I squealed.

“Hi,” He chuckled.

I let out another big squeal before jumping on top of him, cupping his cheeks with my hands and pressing my lips to his. I could tell he enjoyed the kiss and so did I.

“Todd this is the best present ever!” I shouted while hugging onto Josh.

“I know I’m amazing,” Todd smirked.

“I wouldn’t go that far,” I giggled.

“Just go kiss your hubby,” Ky shot at us.

“Okay!” I squealed while bouncing up and down on the bed then left kisses over all of Josh’s adorable little face.

“Josh you poor man, how do you deal with all that energy?” Todd chuckled.

“I think it’s sexy,” Josh smiled while running his hand on my leg.

“Okay! You can stop now!” Ky shouted through a laugh.

“Nuh uh,” I shook my head as Josh pulled me on top of him and we started sharing kisses again.

We shared more kisses before we parted and he ran a hand through my hair.

“I missed you honey,” He cooed while leaving a kiss on my nose.

“I missed you too,” I replied while laying my head on his chest. “But I miss my babies too. Where are they?”

“They’re staying with your dad and Uncle Toby for half the time and the other half is going to be split between my mom and dad,” Josh told me.

“Aw, they’ll have fun,” I smiled.

“So will we,” He said while planting another kiss on my lips.

“I can’t wait to spend time with you,” I beamed.

“We haven’t been alone since Christian was born,” Josh whispered.

“But…” I trailed off while looking over at the Potter couple were kissing.

“Well I’m going to have you to myself sometimes too. I’m going to make sure of it,” He smiled while cupping my cheek with his hand and caressing it with his thumb.

“I love you,” I told him while burying my face in the crook of his neck.

“I love you too sweetie, so much,” He cooed while nibbling on my ear.

I’m so excited to have my gorgeous hubby here and he’s going to know about it for sure. I get to spend time with Josh and my bestie and her husband too. This trip to Paris just got a million times better!
