Imprinted on My Heart

Maeve’s POV

I woke up to find Alex still asleep beside me, holding me tightly in his arms still as he had been all through the night. I smiled and reached up to run a finger down the length of his nose and across his cheek then down this whisker strewn jaw.

He grumbled slightly before opening his eyes
“I was sleeping” he groaned, I giggled
“well sleepy time is over, come on we have to train again today” I told him, he groaned once more and rolled over taking me with him until I was laid back against the bed with him half sprawled across me making it difficult to get up.

I laughed and pushed at him
“come on Alex, we have to go, you have to explain to your father where you went last night” I told him, he huffed
“fuck him” he swore, I fake gasped
“language Alex, he’s your father” I scolded, he grumbled into the pillow before lifting his head and rolling his eyes
“I don’t see why I have to explain anything to him?” he asked, I raised a brow and gave him a stern look which he scowled at but got to his feet.

I smiled and got up after him, walking to face him and reaching up to pull his head down to mine, placing a kiss on his lips. He groaned in appreciation this time and pulled me closer with his hands wrapped around my waist.

I giggled and pulled away
“enough, I have to get changed” I told him, he wriggled his brows
“can I watch?” he asked I chuckled and shook my head, pushing him towards the door
“no, go on out and wait for me downstairs” I insisted, he moaned but walked out and down stairs.

I quickly changed then walked out of my room and downstairs where I found Mia, her Mum and Alex all sat around the kitchen talking. Alex looked up as I walked in and a grin came to his face, he opened his arms and I happily walked into them, snuggling up to him. Mia’s Mum chuckled and got up walking out leaving us and Mia.

Mia grinned
“I see you guys are fine now” she pointed out, I looked at her and grinned
“yes thank you for letting him in” I thanked her, she shrugged
“anything to make you both happy” she said with a grin before walking over and hugging me then telling us “we’re going to train in half an hour” I nodded and she walked out and up the stairs.

I turned in Alex’s arms and grinned up at him
“hey lover” I greeted, he chuckled and brushed a kiss along my mouth
“lover?” he asked, I nodded as I moved in closer, wrapping my arms around him and fitting my head in his neck where I lapped lightly making him shiver.
“are you sure you’re a wolf and not a cat like they asked weeks ago?” he asked, I giggled
“I’m definatly a wolf, if I were a cat I wouldn’t find you nearly as delicious as I do” I told him, he chuckled lowly, seductively
“oh you do, do you?” he asked, I nodded
“oh yes, I could just...eat...you...up” I said with pauses where I would nip lightly at him.

Alex groaned
“you’re killing me” he moaned, I smirked and pulled out of his neck to look at him. His eyelids were heavy giving him a drowsy look though I knew he was looking at me closely, looking for an opening to just grab me and shove me against the counter or take me out into the woods and have me, the thought made me want to groan
“I wouldn’t want to do that” I rumbled, a lazy smirk came to his lips before he grabbed me and swung us around so my back as against the counter, he swooped down and connected our lips together, fighting against one another for dominance, tongues added to the fight for extra friction and he kicked my feet apart slightly so he could move in closer so there was no space between us at all.

I let him take control of my mouth and revelled in the feeling of his power over me, god I loved this man, wanted this man, needed this man.

We were so caught up we didn’t hear Mia approach but her voice cut through the lustful haze
“err guys, I would rather you not do this where I eat” she stated. Alex pulled away and I looked at Mia, licking my bottom lip, I looked at her apologetically
“sorry Mia, we got caught up” I confessed, she looked at me amused
“I’d say, well tidy yourselves up, we’re heading out” I nodded while Alex just stood there smirking.

I looked at Alex who smirked down at me, swooping in for one more kiss before pulling me towards the door as I tried to straighten myself out.
