A Vampire's Kiss and Touch of Revenge

Anyone Have A Plan To Get Us Out?

“So who’s the crazy vampire lady?” Erelin asked.

“Well, it’s my mom. Don’t you recognize her?” I asked Erelin.

“Wait that was your mom? Your mom is one of them?” Erelin asked surprised.

“Yeah, but I think she is good like Pete and Brendon though. I don’t know much yet about her because you guys got caught as we were talking.” I replied sighing.

“I didn’t really pay attention to her because I was trying to fight off her goons.” Erelin said with Brendon snickering at her.

“Yeah, a lot of good that did us.” Brendon replied rolling with laughter.

“I thought we discussed this. I was trying to save you.” She said looking at Brendon. Then she blushed and said, “Well, I meant all of you.”

“It’s alright, Erelin we know.” Pete said rolling his eyes.

“Anyone have cell phone on them?” I asked.

“I do.” Patrick called.

“Great, can you call and see if you can get Jenny on the line before a guard catches you? We need some back up because I am going to see if we can talk civilized to my mom first about letting us go. If that does not work then we need a plan to bust us out of here. But I don’t want her and the rest of the gang to get captured too because that would defeat the purpose of us breaking out.” I said.

“I’m on it.” Patrick said turning his back from the bars of the cell.

“Crap!” Someone is coming!” I said to Patrick who hung up and hid his phone quickly.

“It was enough time to tell Jenny what we needed.” Patrick whispered.

“Food time!” Several guards said bringing food for Patrick, Erelin, and me and blood packets for Brendon and Pete.

There were enough guards as of right now to keep us from fighting our way out. I looked down at the food and sighed. How did I know it wasn’t poisoned or something? I mean they did stick a needle in me to knock me out.

“How do I know it isn’t laced with something?” I said looking at Erelin who picked up an apple.

“Give me that!” Brendon said taking the apple away from Erelin.

“Hey, give that back!” Erelin said trying to get it back but Brendon was keeping it away from her as the guards walked out laughing at us.

“No, Amanda may be right.” Brendon said taking a bite out of the apple.

“See, I am already dead so if there was something it wouldn’t kill me.” He said. “Yuck!” He added spitting out the apple. Everyone stared at him.

“What? Vampires cannot eat people food; it does not taste the same to us anymore as it used to when we were alive. You are clear on the poison theory though.” Brendon said giving us all, a sigh of relief.

“Don’t scare me like that again Brendon Boyd Urie!” Erelin said reaching for some more fruit off the tray that was brought.

“Guys, we need a plan, seriously. Amanda, I think after you eat, you need to get the guards to bring your mom back here. But you need to eat after being cooped up in here all day.” Pete said pulling me into his lap as I ate some pineapple.

“What did Jenny say?” I asked Patrick.

“I told her I would call her back with any details. I did tell her where we were and that we were ok. She told me that she would tell the others and if they had to they would come in guns a blazing which made me smile. I think she was relieved when I told her I was ok.
She is more concerned that I am in a building full of vampires though.” Patrick explained.

I finished eating and went to the cell door. “Hey, I want to speak to my mother. Can you go get her?” I asked yelling to some guards at the end of the hall.

They laughed which I noticed had become a favorite thing of theirs. I looked back at Pete and sighed. I did try.

“I tried.” I replied sitting back on Pete’s lap.

“It’s ok. We will think of another way.” He said kissing my ear.

About that time, a guard came to the cell. “I have a message for you. After your message was delivered, boss sent us a note saying that she will talk with you but only if you come with us.” One guard said.

“Hell, no, she is not coming with you!” Pete said we got up.

“Pete, it is ok. I do not think she will harm me. Its you guys, I am worried about. Please let me do this and go to her. It may be the only way out of here.” I said grabbing onto Pete and hugging him.

Pete did not want to let me go. I nodded my head at the guard who opened the door to let me out. I turned to look at everyone.

“It’s going to be alright, Pete.” I whispered in his ear.

“I love you.” He said.

“I love you too.” I replied.

Pete had my hand and slowly let it go as I walked out the door. I turned around again to see the guard lock them back in and I hoped I was doing the right thing. I needed to know more about this feud between her and my father. I also wanted to know how he turned her into a vampire. Her death was faked and covered up, as I now knew. Hopefully, I will be able to convince her to let us go and maybe we could fight my dad together.
