"Daddy!" "Hey sweetie. How was your frist day of school?" "Great! I made two friends. Joel & Benji." " Thats great. You wanna know whats for dinner?" I just shook my head. "Spagetii." "Yea! My favorit." he put me down & me & Daniel ran upstairs to play with Pooh.
I was walking through the coradoor when I heard mum & dad yelling, like every night. I was on my way to the stairs when I heard that word again, 'leve'. Dad had been talking about leveing for weeks, but he was always home at night. Daniel & I saw mum kissing some guy at the store one time & mum siad not to tell dad. But one night after she left dad asked us if we knew anything, cause she went out evey night & came home late. I just shook my head, while Daniel started to cry & tell. We stayed dwon stairs while he went up stairs. When mum came home I graped him & ran upstairs. I herd them fighting befor, but didn't tell Daniel. And I decided to tell him. I just held him in my arms, siting on his bed, whilest he cryed.
I thought ited be like every other fight, but I was sooo wrong.
" No! You cheated on me! I want a divorce!" "No! what about the kids? Are we gonna split them? Or will I take them?" "You take them? YOU take them? You can't handle two kids, a good job, & be there for them." I decided not to lisen any more & ran back to get Daniel.
" Wake up! We'r leveing." "What? where are we going?" "I don't know. Just...GOING!!! Come on get dressed." As soon as we where ready we whent out the back door & ran. Just run too get away. When we stoped we where three blocks from the house. " What happened?" I told him everything. We walked a little, till we came to a house with lights on. I told him we would go to the house & see if we could stay. We walked up to it & I rang the doorbell. When someone ansrewed, I saw it was Robin. " Oh my! What are you doing here?" " We a...well kind of... ran...away." "Come in you can stay here. Tell me what happen?" I told her everything. Then she got up & took us upstairs, so we could sleep.
