Make Me Better

Chapter 3

"I have to get going..." I smiled. I stood up and did some sort of stretch. I had been at Gee's house for about an hour.

"I'll drive you, since you walked here." Frank grinned. Gerard wolf-whistled.
I glared.
"I'm kidding!" He laughed.
"Where do you live?" He asked once we got into his car.
"Oh Shit! I don't actually know." I said. I tried my hardest to remember.
Frank started to laugh.
"Why are you laughing? " I found myself laughing while I spoke.

"Now what?" Frank started to drive.
"Umm...Go straight." I said. He was still laughing.
The car stopped quickly.
"Yeah, I don't I think I live here." I inspected the houses.
"I ran out of gas." Frank's laughing stopped.
I started to laugh.
"Well, I guess we'll find your house walking." He smiled.
"No, Its fine..Go home...I'll get there." I started walking when Frank stopped me.
"No way! Let you walk the streets of Jersey by yourself?" He asked.
It started to rain..Yup..Rain.
"This is nice." Frank said.
"Yeah..I have no sweater." I replied.
Frank grabbed me and pulled me into his side so that his sweater was covering me.
"We're gonna get sick." Frank coughed.
"Don't jinx it,.Oh, There goes my house." I said happily.
Frank left me on my porch.
"You're just going to walk back?" I asked.
"I have no other choice." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and pulled him into the house. Dad wasn't home yet.
My mom was cooking.
"Where were you?" She asked without looking at me.
"Can I borrow your car?" I asked completely ignoring her question.
"Why?" She finally turned around.
"You two are all wet! Do not tell me you walked here?" She asked. Frank nodded laughing.
My mom shook her head.
"You look sick....You two are so cold." Mom felt our foreheads.
"Mom, Frank has to get home." I answered quickly.
Frank started to cough, I thought he was faking it. He wasn't.

"Yeah...Take him home." Mom rushed me outside.
"I'm going to die!" Frank moaned while I drove him home.
"Stop it..." I said smiling.
"Bye!" He jumped out the car and ran to his house.
I drove back slowly.
Mom was still in the kitchen when I got home. I decided to leave her alone for the night. I headed to my room and hoped that I wouldn't wake up sick.

Frank blew his nose.
"I told you, you didn't have to walk me." I said.
"Its' fine!" He rubbed his red eyes.
I, on the other hand was not sick.
"I don't think you should be eating ice cream." I said while I stood next to Frank in line.
"Who says?" He asked.
"Me!" I laughed.
"I never really listen to you anyways." he ruffled my hair. I rolled my eyes and fixed my hair.
"Bob!" I said while he smiled.
"Finish my ice cream." I asked nicely.
"I told you not to get a big cone." Bob scolded like he was my mom. I looked up at him sadly.

"Please! Gee will kick my ass if I get his car all dirty." I pleaded.
"Damn right!" Gerard said.

Bob still ignored me.
"Fine!" Bob sighed in defeat.
"I bet I can put the whole thing in my mouth." Bob grinned.
"I dare you." I said laughing. He bit it and the whole fell apart and spilled down his arm and it got on his shirt. I laughed loudly.

"Bob your such a messy little kid." Ray said.
Frank giggled his ass off

"Olive!" Bob scolded.

"What? You said you could do it." I laughed.
"Why did you encourage me?" He asked while he licked chocolate ice cream off his arm.

We got in the car....Gerard started to drive when he stopped quickly.
"We forgot Mikey!" He said.
"I knew we were missing someone." Frank said.
Mikey was talking to some girl.
"Hi Jenna!" Bob screamed out the window. The petite blond turned her head to wave.
Lynz pretended to throw up. I shook my head at her. After Gerard had to practically pick Mikey up and put him the car...We left the mall.
"I don't like her!" Lynz said.
"Why not?" Bob asked like his feelings were hurt.
"She was the hots for Frank." Gerard sang.

"So? Doesn't change the fact that I don't like her." Lynz huffed.
