"No, no, no." Alex laughed at me. "This is how you do it." He replied as he fixed my fingers.

"Help me!" I laughed. "I can't play this song at all."

"I think that you're refusing. Just because it's about you doesn't meant that you can half ass it." Alex smirked. "I know that you can play, so freaking play."

"It's hard, okay?" I shrugged.

"Here." Alex stated as he moved the guitar from my lap. "We're working on your cords first."

I stuck out my tongue at him.

Alex rolled his eyes, sitting in front of my crossed legs. He sat the guitar in his own lap.

"Now grab the neck." He told me.

I thought that I would play around a bit, so I gripped his neck lightly.

"Like this?"

"Ha ha. I meant the guitar."

"I know." I replied in a smart ass tone. I put my hand on the guitar's neck.

"Put your fingers here." He placed my finger on the right strings.

I learned the song in five minutes.

"I can play!" I joked.

"You can!" Alex joined in.

Awkward silence filled the air.

"Alex...thanks."

"You're welcome?" He shrugged. "Why are you crying when I got here?"

"Long story,"

"I have time,"

"Just my mom." I shrugged in return. "How exactly are you parents reacting toward Lexi?"

"They love her already." He laughed. "She capture's hearts."

"Daddy's little girl." I mumbled, hoping that he didn't hear me.

Of course he did.

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Depends...what is the question?"

"Why are you dating Jack?!" He asked quickly.

I was caught off guard.

"Jack's Jack. He's really funny, and he's sweet."

"Oh." Alex looked down at the guitar. He moved the guitar to the ground, but didn't move form between my legs.

"Alex, do you have a problem with me dating Jack?"

"Honestly? Yeah. It's bugging the hell out of me."

"Why does it?"

"Alyson, that might be the stupidest question you could ever ask." He laughed at me softly. He slightly turned toward me. "I can't seem to get over you, Alyson. I don't think that I will ever be able too. But I'm getting closer."

"Ooh," I nodded. "I can't get over you either, Alex. But I'm trying."

"That's all I ask." He mumbled, finally standing up. "I'll see you later?"

I nodded sadly.

"Yeah, um...Monday at school right?"

"Right." Alex nodded. "Bye, Alyson."

"Bye, Alexander."
