Still Causing Trouble

Tilly’s pov
I tried sleeping on the bus but I couldn’t. Insomnia sucks. Sighing I got up and walked to the back of the bus where the TV was. Quietly I turned it on then popped in Hannibal Lector. Keeping the volume low, so I wouldn’t disturb anyone.
“Hannibal Lector?” Matt asked.
I turned to see him leaning against the door way, a dimpled smile on his face. I nodded and turned back to the screen, Matt sat next to me and I leaned against him for warmth.
“Hey Matt, do you think it would be awkward if I called you…..um…” I trailed off before finishing my sentence.
He smiled and I swear his eyes lit up, “You want to call me dad?”
I nodded, smiling when I saw the excitement on his face.
Matt nodded, “That would be perfectly fine with me, as long as your comfortable with it.”
I smiled, “Okay dad.”
At first it sounded strange then I realized that it sounded normal. We continued to watch Hannibal Lector together until I fell asleep. Maybe it was time to move on and start over with Matt as my dad.
