Kandi

Kandi and Gabby were practically inseparable and it had only been a day. Kandi was being watched over by Matt and Zacky since Johnny was out with his girl, Michelle was shopping with Amanda, and Brian was calling to in role Kandi into the same preschool as Bandit. He really didn’t want her going to public school because he figured she wouldn’t get along with the other kids. Brian would have much rather had her home schooled but they took it to a group vote which of course he lost.

“Okay. Thanks, yes we’ll be down there it a little bit for a tour.” Brian tried his best to not sound worried.

“Great. I’ll see you soon, goodbye.” Ms. Cooper the teacher replied before hanging up.

Brian put his phone down the counter than took a deep breath before walking into the backyard to get Kandi.

“Okay Kandi you ready to go see your school?” He asked pulling on a fake smile.

She looked up from the sandbox and smiled wide, “Yeah! Really?”

“Yeah really.” He laughed and picked her up before waving at the guys and walking back into the house with Gabby on his heels.

“No Gabby, you stay.” He spoke strictly at the dog before shutting the front door behind him.

As he walked to the car they could both hear Gabby whining.

“Gabby wants to come.” Kandi spoke.

“She can’t, dogs can’t go to school.” Brian buckled her in and got in before driving off.

She pouted but knew she wasn’t going to win this so she just sulked in the back as he drove down town and pulled into the parking lot of her new preschool.

Her eyes widened and she smiled, “I’m gonna be here?!”

Brian laughed, “Yeah your going to school here.”

They both got out and he set her down as they walked in but made sure to hold her hand for his own comfort.

A very beautiful woman came out of one of a room with a bright purple door and smiled, “Hello I’m Ms. Cooper.”

She bent down to Kandi’s level, “And you must be Kandi, with a K and an I.”

Brian’s mouth went dry as he looked at the beautiful woman in front of him. He was a man of course and men looked and he hated to admit that on some occasions on tour he had touched but always thought of Michelle and felt guilty after.

“That’s me.” Kandi beamed.

“Well alright then and you must be her fa-” She started but Brian interrupted.

“I’m actually a very good friend of her dad.”

She nodded then took Kandi’s hand, “This is the main area where in the morning you can put your stuff in your cubby then you can go through that green door right there and play with the other children.”

Kandi looked so excited as Ms. Cooper showed them around. Brian couldn’t help but smile at her since she was so adorable.

“When can I go to school?” Kandi asked after the tour excitedly.

Ms. Cooper laughed, “You can start tomorrow.”

Brian nodded and shook hands with Ms. Cooper, “Thank you Ms-”

She cut him off and smiled, “Please call me Jen.”

“Okay, Jen. Thank you for letting Kandi in on such short notice.” He couldn’t help but admire her curves.

Jen smiled and waved goodbye to both of them as they walked out of the school. Kandi was babbling in the back about how much fun she was going to have tomorrow but Brian couldn’t keep his mind off of Jen. There was only one problem and she was most likely home right now, waiting for him.
