Unexpected Lover.

Ten;

It had been a few days since I’d left Jamie. And I still hadn’t been back to the house for my clothes. I was currently wondering around in Zack’s because I really didn’t want to face my asshole of an ex fiancé. Maria had given me two week off to fully get everything sorted out and I couldn’t be more thankful. She had helped me so much in the past few days. I walked into the kitchen in one of Zacky's long T-shirts to make breakfast for him and myself. I started making some pancakes and smiled as I heard the shuffling of Zacky coming down the stairs.

“Something smells good.” Zacky mumbled tiredly as he walked into the kitchen. I smiled softly as I placed some of the breakfast in front of him.

"Well, eat up then Baker." I giggled as I too dug into the food. He moaned out in delight and I couldn't stop the giggle that escaped my lips. His eyes locked with mine as he sent me a soft smile. We still hadn't talked about the kiss and I didn't know if we ever would. I knew that he liked me.. and he hopefully knew I liked him. I averted my eyes away from his and stared down at the food on my plate. "Zacky?" I asked nervously and he looked at me with curious eyes.

"Yeah Ri?" He asked and I sighed softly as I debated on whether to ask him my question or not.

"Could you please come with me to Jamie's house later? I don't really want to go alone.." I admitted and he smiled softly at me. But part of his expression seemed to scream 'did you really think I was going to let you to alone?’

“Did you really think I was going to make you go to that dicks house on your own? I think not.” He chuckled and I smiled softly as I finished up my breakfast and placed it in the sink. I turned to face him and smiled softly as I watched him finishing off his breakfast. He really was a gorgeous man. “What?” He asked with a chuckle and I flushed red as I realised he’d caught me staring.

“Nothing Zack.” I smiled and he just rolled his eyes softly. “Erm.. Do you hve anything I can borrow till we go?” I asked shyly as I pointed down to my lack of clothing. His eyes skimmed over my body as he chuckled.

“I think Gena left some jeans and I’ll lend you one of my t-shirts.” He smiled and I nodded my head softly.

“Thanks.” I said as he grabbed my hand to start pulling me up the stairs and towards his bedroom. Once we were inside the large room, he instantly went over to his wardrobe and pulled out a Jack Daniel’s t-shirt. He handed it over to me before rummaging around and pulling out some ripped black skinny jeans.

“Those were.. Gena’s. Don’t worry, you won’t get herpes.” He jokes and I couldn’t stop a laugh escaping. I looked over the jeans and shrugged softly.

“Thanks Zack.” I smiled before walking into the bathroom to change my clothes. Once I was all dressed, I put on a little make up and made my way back out to Zacky. He was already dressed and waiting in the doorway for me.

“You ready to go?” He asked and I sighed softly as I nodded.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.” I murmured as I walked out of the front door. He climbed in his car and I followed as I sat in the passenger side. He smiled over at me softly as he grabbed my hand over the clutch.

"It'll be okay, Riley." He whispered with a smile as he squeezed my hand lightly. I smiled at the contact. I felt butterflies erupt in my stomach and a light blush crept onto my cheeks. I was just glad that Zacky was to concentrated on driving to notice it. He held my hand throughout the drive and I couldn't deny that his soothing strokes across the back of my hand calmed me down. We were soon outside the giant house and I sucked in a very deep breath before climbing out. Zacky's followed behind and placed his hand on the bottom of my back. I sighed softly as I walked straight through the door. I saw Jamie laid on the couch but as soon as he heard movement he shot up. He attempted to talk to me but I ignored him and grabbed Zacky's hand, dragging him up the staircase to the bedroom. I grabbed out a suitcase and instantly started shoving things inside. Zacky came up beside me and started helping.

"Riley, please don't do this. Come home." He more demanded than asked. I scoffed lightly.

"You fucked someone else, Jamie. I'm never coming back to you. I didn't want to be in this fucking place in the first place." I said and Zacky chuckled quietly. He completely ignored my statement.

"Who the fucks this?" He asked and Zacky smirked as he turned around from his place beside the wardrobe.

"I was Gena's fiance." He said and Jamie's face instantly fell.

"So now your fucking each other to get back at me, aren't you?!" He screamed and I rolled my eyes softly.

"Not all of us are like you, Jamie. Even if we are It's none of your fucking business anymore!" I screamed and Zacky pulled me in his arms to calm down. I melted into his arms and soon after we started packing again. Jamie just stayed rather quiet and stood against the door frame. Once everything was packed, Zacky helped me carry everything downstairs. He loaded the bags into the boot of his car and smiled softly as he wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Please Riley.. Your going to regret this." Jamie said sadly and I scoffed before looking up at Zacky.

"I think Zacky will make a better room mate." I smiled and Jamie just rolled his eyes. We walked around and got back into Zacky's car. I smiled over at the black haired, green eyed boy and he grinned back.

"You ready to live with Zacky Vengeance permanently?" He asked and I nodded my head softly as 'pantera' filled the quiet space.

"Coarse I am." I said with a soft smile as he backed out of the driveway. I laid my head against the window and sighed softly as the cold glass soothed the on coming headache. I fluttered my eyes to a close as I listened to 'walk' blasting out through the speakers. Once the car was parked outside Zacky's house, I slowly climbed out to get my bags. Zacky helped me and in no time I was in my new room, bags surrounding my feet.

"Make yourself comfortable here. It's your home now, too." He smiled and I couldn't hide the grin that tugged at my mouth. This was the first time I'd truly felt at home in a long time. It felt warm and loving. Not giant and fake like Jamie's house.

"Thank you so much, Zack." I muttered as we walked back into the living room, leaving my belongings for another day. He smiled as he pulled me into his arms. I huddled into his chest and breathed in his captivating scent.

"Don't mention it, Riley. I wouldn't want you staying anywhere else." He said into my hair and I smiled softly up at him. He kissed my forehead before pulling me by the hand to sit on the sofa. "Let's watch movies." He said as he walked over to a shelf full of movies. He grabbed one off the shelf and inserted it into the DVD player. Night mare on elm street opened up and I smiled softly. I loved the films but.. I wasn't exactly going to tell Zacky that. I had to at least pretend to be scared. He sat down beside me after dimming the lights and wrapped an arm securely around me.

"Have you see this before?" He asked curiously around half way through and I shrugged softly.

"I honestly don't know. I think I may have a few years ago but.. I don't remember most of it." I lied slightly as I huddled closer into his side. He chuckled slightly and pulled me closer to his chest.

"Yeah, yeah. You just want me to hold you." He joked and I giggled softly as I shrugged.

"Maybe I do Baker. You'll never know." I said with a wink. He sent me a small half smile as he delicately pressed his plump lips to my temple. The cool metal of his lip rings sent shivers down my spine.

“What if I want to know?” He whispered huskily into my ear and my breath hitched into my throat. It was possibly the sexiest sound in the world.

“Too bad.” I murmured and he groaned softly as he wrapped his arms tighter around my torso.

“Come on, Ri.” He pleaded and I couldn’t help but smile.

“I’ve seen this film around fifty times.” I admitted sheepishly. “I was pretending to be scared as this is one of my favourite horror films.” I giggled and he rolled his eyes softly as he pulled me as close as possible.

“You didn’t have to pretend. I would have done this anyway.” He murmured and I smiled softly as he moved into a laying down position. I laid down beside him and placed my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me again and I sighed softly into his chest. It felt nice just being in his arms. Not worrying about Jamie or anything else. It felt as though I belonged in his arms and the feeling was amazing.
