When we heard Willow run to my room we both sighed ,but Mr. Tod was just frustrated. He patted my back and went to his room as I looked at him I whispered," She's not leaving."
That earned me a slap across the face and almost instantly I hit him back ,but realizing what I did I froze as he doubled over throwing up. I scattered to clean it up and he just stared at me. I didn't look up, I was too afraid too. I've never hit him ,but he never blind-sided me. I was shaking bad though. I could feel his fury and anger.
"Boy, you live in my house under my rules. You need to remember that. You hit me again and your both out on the streets. Got it?" he said before leaving me there to clean up the vomit.
