Kisses Under Starry Night Skies

"One week to go." Zack said. He was strangely hyper today.

"I knew I shouldn't have let you have that sugar doughnut." Rian laughed.

"I'm sorry. I'm just really excited."

"Yeah, we can tell." I laughed from my hammock on the back porch.

"Hey, where's Alex?" Rian asked.

"I don't know, he said he had to do some stuff in town."

"Oh." Rian said looking into the house. "Speak of the devil."

Alex came through the back door.

"Hey, guys." Alex said, strangely cheerful.

"What's up with you?" Zack asked.

"I'd like you to meet someone." Alex said stepping to the side. "This is Lisa."

She was beautiful. She had silky blonde hair and lovely blue eyes. I watched as both Zack and Rian's jaws dropped.

"Hi." She said shyly.

"Hey, I'm Paige." I said getting up and shaking her hand. "And this guy here is my goofball of a brother, Zack." I said pointing at him.

"Thanks, Paige." He said sarcastically. "Hey." He said shaking Lisa's hand.

"And I'm Rian." Rian said. "Nice to meet you."

"So you guys are in the band?" She asked.

"Sure are. I play bass and Rian's on the drums." Zack said.

"Cool."

"So, Lisa are you and Alex, like together?" I asked. Alex rolled his eyes at me; he was expecting me to ask that.

"As a matter of fact we are." She said intertwining their fingers.

"Cool, I'm really happy for you." I really meant it too.

"Thanks." Alex said. "Well I'm taking Lisa to meet Kara and-"

"Jack too?" I asked. He looked at me concerned. "It'll help."

"Yeah, Jack too and then we're going out for dinner, so don't wait up."

"Okay, have fun." Rian said.

"It was nice to meet you Lisa." Zack said.

"Yeah you too." She said.

"I'll walk you guys out." I said. We walked through the house and out the front door.

"So, you guys have fun." I said. "It was really great to meet you Lisa."

"Same." She smiled and got into Alex's car.

"Text me after you see Jack." I said.

"Okay, thankyou for being nice."

"Anytime." I smiled.

"She's really nice. You guys make a cute couple."

"Good because she's coming on Warped with us." He said then left.
I went back through the house and was about to go out the back when I heard Zack and Rian talking.

"Dude, she's so hot." Zack was saying.

"I know, man. Alex sure picks them well." I smiled at that.

"Let's just hope this one lasts."

"Yeah." I walked outside.

"Rian you better watch yourself. Kara won't like it when I tell her what you've been saying." I joked.

"You wouldn't dare." Rian glared at me.

"Oh, I wouldn't?" I said pulling out my phone.

"Get her." Rian yelled. Both he and Zack came at me. Zack picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.

"Zack put me down." I squealed. He dropped me onto the grass.

"I'll hold her down." Zack said pinning my arms to the ground. Zack held me down while Rian tickled me.

"No!" I squealed trying to wriggle free. No luck. Rian kept tickling.

"Zack! You work out too much." I laughed.

"You think so?" He asked letting me go to flex his muscles.

"Ha, suckers." I said as I got up and ran away.

"Aw, shit." Rian said. "Now look what you did."

"You're just jealous." I heard Zack say.

I went back inside and up to my room when I heard my phone beeping. I checked through clothes and bags that were thrown all over the floor. I eventually found it under my pillow.
