Lust for Life

Dark Mark

“Harry!” I yelled running towards him as I saw Harry,
“Harry!” Hermione called as we reached him,
“We’ve been looking for you for ages,” Ron spoke, “Thought we lost you, mate.” Ron added.

“What is that?” Harry asked looking at the green skull and snake in the sky, he winced and held his scar as I sensed other people coming.

Stupefy!” I dragged the others to the ground just dodging the spells.

“Stop! That’s my son!” Arthur yelled and got to us first. “Ron, Harry, Hermione, Meira, are you all right?” Arthur asked,
“We came back for Harry.” Ron explained.

“Which of you conjured it?” a man held a wand in our faces,
“Crouch, you can’t possi--” Arthur started,
“Do not lie! You’ve been discovered at the scene of the crime.” Crouch yelled,
“Crime?” Harry asked,
“Barty! They’re just kids.” Arthur spoke,
“What crime?” Harry asked,
“It’s the Dark Mark, Harry. It’s his mark.” Hermione spoke,
“What, Voldemort?” Harry asked.

“Those people tonight, in the masks, they’re his too, aren’t they? His followers?” Harry asked,
“Yeah. Death Eaters.” Arthur spoke.

“Follow me.” Crouch spoke and started to leave us,
“There was a man, before. There!” Harry pointed,
“All of you, this way!” Crouch instructed.

“A man, Harry? Who?” Arthur asked,
“I don’t know. I didn’t see his face.” Harry answered, I grabbed onto Harry’s arm softly as he gently held my hand. Harry looked up at the Dark Mark as I rested my head on his shoulder.

“Anything from the trolley? Anything from the trolley?” the woman walked down the corridor, Harry and Ron grabbed their money as I read my book and Hermione read the newspaper. “Anything from the trolley dears?” the old lady asked,
“Packet of Drooble’s and a Licorice Wand.” Ron stood up, “On second thought, just the Drooble’s.” Ron added,
“It’s all right, I’ll get it. Don’t worry.” Harry spoke,
“Just the Drooble’s. Thanks.” Ron sat back down.

“Two Pumpkin Pasties, please.” I heard a friend outside, I paged my book and stood up, “Thank you,” Cho spoke,
“Hey Cho!” I waved,
“Oh, Hello Mei,” Cho waved as I smiled at her.

“Anything sweet for you dear?” the old woman asked Harry,
“Oh, no, I’m not hungry. Thank you.” Harry spoke and looked after Cho as I looked at the trolley,
“I don’t suppose you have any Blood Pop’s do you?” I asked, the woman looked around the trolley,
“Are you Miss. Skylar?” she asked,
“Yes,” I nodded with a smile, she pulled out one Blood Pop for me, “Thank you,” I smiled and gave her the money.

I closed the door as I opened the wrapper and sat back down by the window, I put the lolly pop in my mouth and sucked on it,
“I thought your mother usually gave you those blood twister things?” Ron asked,
“Yea, but I’ve gotten a bit older, I don’t know if you can tell.” I joked, “I don’t need to eat them as much as I used to now… its one every other day now,” I smiled, “I feel like I’m becoming more normal,” I added as I opened my book.

“This is horrible. How can the Ministry not know who conjured it? Wasn’t there any security or…?” Hermione spoke,
“Loads, according to Dad. That’s what worried them so much. Happened right under their noses.” Ron spoke, Harry scratched his forehead a little,
“It’s hurting again, isn’t it? Your scar.” Hermione spoke,
“I’m fine.” Harry answered Hermione leaned forward towards Harry.
“You know Sirius will want to hear about this, what you saw at the World Cup and the dream.” Hermione explained, I continued reading my book silently as Harry looked out the window.

Harry wrote a letter to Sirius and sent Hedwig through the carriage window to fly.
