Tias POV

There he was down on one knee proposing. People had started to come to the front door to see what was happening, gasping when they saw. Birdman saw us and stood there. I looked at him and he nodded his head as if to give me permission to marry Wayne.
I looked back to wayne.
"Of course ill marry you!" I said. He put the gorgeous diamond ring on my finger and picked me up and kissed me.
"All right now put Tia down and come here" birdman said to Wayne with his arms outstretched. Wayne went over to him and they hugged. I heard birdman say to Wayne
"Well done boy she's a keeper"
Wayne took my hand and we walked inside and birdman shouted
"now this" he said holding up my hand with my engagement ring,
"is a reason to party! Come on now let's congratulate the future mr and mrs carter!" Everyone cheered and birdman turned to me
"Wayne I want to talk to Tia alone for a minute"
Wayne nodded and left the room.
"Tia. I have one request and one request only. Don't break my boy's heart. Hes had it happen one too many times and I know you're different"

"Thanks birdman, I won't, I'll settle for him and him only" I smiled
"No please call me baby, c'mon your family now" he said giving me a hug.
"Now get out there and enjoy your engagement party" he said patting me on the back.
