In Love With a Stripper

You Play Dirty

(Jynx’s POV)

I was happy to see that Robbi had found someone she was interested in. I just wish he wasn’t so big. I mean she’s tiny compared to him, and lets face it Syn looks scary as hell sometimes. The three of us walked out of the club, and I saw Gerard waiting there for me, just like he said he would be. After the night I was having it felt good to have him wrap his arms around me in a hug. He nodded at Syn and Robbi surprised him and gave him a hug.

“So we are doing a double date like thing, I hope you don’t mind.” I said he just smiled.

“Do I have to call you Sue the whole time?” he asked I could tell he didn’t like that idea.

“We’ll sit at separate tables ok,” his smile returned and we all got into his SUV. Once we arrived at the dinner we were seated at different tables and I tried to forget about what happened earlier with Jared, but it kept popping up in my mind.

“Is there something wrong?” Gerard asked.

“No, why?”

“Cause I have asked you three times now when you’re starting your classes and you haven’t answered me once.”

“Oh I’m sorry, Gee. I just…I’m a little tired is all.”

“You should have told me I would have understood if you canceled. You could have gone home and got some rest.” I smiled at his concern.

“I would have minded. I kinda needed to talk to you anyways. See there’s this rule at the club. That if you are dating one of the clients…he can’t be a client anymore.” He didn’t even look fazed.

“Okay, then I won’t be a client.”

“You know that means you can’t watch me dance anymore right, I mean you can’t come into the club at all.”

“Honestly your dancing isn’t what attracted me to you in the first place.” My mouth fell open.

“Then what was?” I asked.

“When you and your friend walked in on your first night. I heard part of your conversation. I heard you say that you didn’t want to dance. Then I saw you get up there and give your all to the performance even though you didn’t want to be there. I mean it actually reminded me a lot of me and the guys how no matter how bad we feel we still have a show to put on.” I blushed at his praise. I heard laughter coming from where Syn and Anonymous were sitting and smiled.

“So I hate to rain on their parade but I think we should get you home and let you get some rest.” He said I must have ignored him again.

“Aww just a little longer, I mean Syn and Anonymous just started to loosen up around each other.”

“Do you always put other’s before your self?”

“I try to,” I said.

“I like that about you, but now let me take care of you for the morning.”

“Hey Ann and Syn, you guys wanna hang out at my place. I don’t know watch some movies or something?” he asked from across the room.

“Who’s Ann?” Robbi asked. I smiled.

“You are, I’m not going to keep calling you Anonymous in public.” He said. She just rolled her eyes.

“I think that’s fare.” I said. “Syn you can call me Jynx, but that’s only when we aren’t in the club okay,” he just smiled at me. Then the guys both paid for our meals and this time I let Robbi ride with Syn out to Gerard’s house. I don’t know what time it was when we arrived, because I was sleep. The only reason I knew we had stopped was cause Gerard came and opened my door. Then he lifted me from my seat, touching one of the bruises on my hip. I took a sharp breath and opened my eyes to see concern on his face.

“What is it?” he asked.

“It’s nothing, I can walk though.” I said, he put me back down.

“That didn’t sound like it was nothing.” He said.

“Really Gee its nothing, I’m just a little sore from some of the pole practice I’ve been doing.” I lied to him, for the first time. I just lied to Gerard. I think he could tell too.

“Maybe I should just take you home.” I clinched my eyes closed. I wasn’t trying to start trouble, but I didn’t want to lose him either. I mean I didn’t completely have him yet.

“It’s just some bruises.” I confessed.

“Let me see,” Robbi said I hadn’t even noticed that Syn and she had come up to us. I guess they were waiting for Gerard to open the door. I rolled my eyes and pulled my shirt up and pushed the top of my jeans down.

“See not bad at all,” I said. Hoping that the porch light wouldn’t reveal much, but as I looked at their faces I could tell they had seen more than I thought they would. Gerard reached out lining his finger’s up with the bruise.

“It’s shaped like a hand.” He said looking me in the eyes.

“A guy got a little grabby tonight is all.” I said brushing it off. Even Syn was looking at me worriedly.

“What guy and don’t act like you don’t know who cause your clientele is rather well known.” Gerard demanded.

“Look Gerard, I like you but you aren’t my father. I don’t have to tell you anything if I don’t want to.” I said. I wasn’t going to tell him who it was for two reasons: one I don’t know what he would do and two he’s famous and so is Jared a feud between them would surely turn heads.

“Come one Jynxie, you can tell me at least.” Robbi said. We told each other everything and maybe I would tell her another time, but right now I knew if I told her she would tell them and all hell would probably break lose.

“No Ann,” I said stressing her name. She rolled her eyes and I started to make my teethe chatter making Gerard believe I was cold so he would either open the door and let us in or say that he was taking me home. He took a deep breath and pulled me too him. His warmth was comforting and it wasn’t really that cold outside. He took out his key and let us in.

“The living room is where we can watch the movie. You remember where that is?” he asked Robbi, “You guys go ahead I’ll make some popcorn.” She smiled and nodded then grabbed Syn’s hand and led him away. I started to walk away to follow them, but he stopped me. “Give them a few minutes,”

“Okay,” I said as he pulled me close again. I looked up into his hazel eyes and he smiled down at me.

“Look you know you can tell me anything right?” he said.

“This is something I can’t tell you, right now anyway. Maybe after I stop working there…”

“Was it someone who worked there,” I smiled. He was still fishing for answers.

“Gerard, I’m not going to tell you.”

“I looked at that bruise and it’s huge. I mean he had to have big hands, which means he was big.” I rolled my eyes.

“I can take care of myself,” this just reinforced my whole don’t tell people things idea. I hated for people to worry about me. He brushed one of my pink streaks behind my ear. Then brushed his lips across mine.

“If you say so,” he said starting to kiss down my neck. My breathing and heart rate both sped up. “Now who gave you those bruises?” he asked. I don’t know why all of a sudden my brain had shut down. His hand was making its way up my inner thigh and he had backed me up against the foyer’s wall.

“Gerard,” I whined. He lifted me and wrapped my legs around him he was careful of the bruises only brushing against them for a second.

“Tell me,” he whispered into my ear before starting to nibble on it. I wrapped my arms around his neck and at the same time the name flew from my lips and he stopped. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.

“You play dirty,” I pouted as he returned my feet to the ground.

“I’ll talk to Ruby about it,”

“Look I think he just had a bit too much to drink,” I said sounding like every bad lifetime movie I’ve ever seen. He caught that too.

“Look I know him personally and I know that he isn’t the type of guy to get drunk, nor is he the type to take no for an answer so just be careful from now on. If you can avoid him.” he really didn’t have to tell me that. I was already planning out ways in my head to not end up doing private dances for him. I just hoped my plans would work.

“We better head back in there before I’m the only virgin left on the planet.” He looked at me like I’d grown an extra head.

“Virgin?”

“Yeah did I forget to mention that?”

“But you’re a stripper,”

“Yeah looks can be deceiving.” I said with a smile.
