"I'm not yours John" I replied.

"Of course you are, Always have always will." He said with a big grin.

I couldn't help but smile back. The way he's making me feel right now is ecstatic.

"Whatever, so who'll be in this party?" I asked him

"Oh you know our guys, The guys from Rocket, This Century and The Summer Set. Same-old same-old." He replied.

"This century? Have I heard of them somewhere?" I asked him

"Oh yeah, It's my friend Joel Kanitz's band he's totally rad. I'll introduce you later" He said whie looking at me for a long time. Not looking at the road.

"John stop looking at me, keep your eyes on the road." I demanded

"Sorry, uh. It's just.. You look really pretty tonight Tams" He told me and took a sneak peek at me.

His words made my cheeks flush a color of red. I didn't know what to do so I put my hands on my face.

"Hey don't do that, a pretty girl should be proud of her beauty" He said giving me a wink.
This is why I love him.

We reached Jared's place and went straight inside. I could see the four other boys from The Maine. I spotted a particualr long-haired boy in the party, it was Pat. He was my best friend among all of them.

We walked towards the rest of the guys and I gave all of them enthusiastic hugs.

"Hey Tammy! I've missed you so much!" Pat greeted me with a very tight hug. John looked very annoyed.

"I missed you too Patrick!" I said clinging my arms to his neck. Making John more annoyed.

"So only Pat gets a hug?" Kennedy asked

"Of course not Kenny!" I gave him and the other guys their hugs as well.

"So how have you been?" Garrett asked me

"Well I was supposed to go to the meadow tonight for mine and John's project due on Monday. But he ditched my idea and decided to go here and get laid by a typical Ashley" I eyed John and they all laughed at me.

"Well maybe we could take you to the meadow later when John's busy" Jared told me.

"Oh my god seriously? that would be awesome thanks Jared!" I told him giving him a very tight hug.

"No problemo for our favorite girl" Kennedy said.

I was about to say something when someone attacked me from behind. It was Halvo. He was carrying me in a piggy back ride position, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Halvo put Tammy down!!" John shouted really pissed.

"Aww but she likes it up there, right Tams?" He asked me

"Of course I do Eric" I replied hugging him tighter so that he wouldn't let go.

"Tams get off of him now" He demanded me.

"Alright, alright. You are so fucking bossy you know that John?" I told him.

"Wow Tams you look hotter than ever tonight" Nick said.

"Aww thanks nick!" I said giving him a hug as well.

"Keep your thoughts to yourself" John said really annoyed. What the hell's wrong with him?

"You know what John? I didn't sign up to be stuck in this party being bossed by you the whole night. So if it's okay with you.. Go the fuck away from me!" I yelled going away from where they were.
I just wanted to be alone. He already ruined my night by not taking me to the meadow. Now he's acting all protective? That's crap.

I went inside the kitchen and sat on the counter next to the fridge. What am I doing here? I shouldn't be here. I'm supposed to focus on my photography not spend my time slacking off in a party. Maybe this was John's scene but it wasn't mine.

I stepped down the counter and opened the fridge. I had to look for something decent enough with no alcohol in it. I don't like drinking. The feeling makes me sick.
That's when I saw Jess.

"Oh my God Tammy, I can't believe it! It's been such a long time. I've missed you" She gave me a tight hug.

"I've missed you too Jess! I can't believe it I missed hanging out with you back in warped!" I told her while hugging back. She was the only girl besides me on the tour. And she became my instant best friends.

"I've missed my best friend! So Tams, are you still in love with John?" She asked me in a serious way.

I sighed and nodded and told her what happened tonight, how he ditched the meadow and became too protective.

"Cheer up Tams, He's just being careful. He doesn't want you to get hurt because he loves you." She gave me a kiss on the forehead.

"Now I've got to go, Stephen's calling me." she said

"So you guys are finally together?!" I asked her anxiously

"Yeah" She said with a smirk

"Omg that's so awesome!! I knew you'd guys be a perfect match, Go to him. I don't wanna keep your boyfriend waiting" I told her. Did I just say omg out loud?

She gave me a hug and went back to the party. Leaving me in the kitchen not wanting to go back in there. I got scared when I heard footsteps towards the kitchen so I let out a little yell. But nobody could hear it because the music was too loud.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I thought nobody was in here, sorry!" The green-eyed boy said. To be honest he reminded me of John. His blonde hair, those pair of green eyes and his body shape. He could totally pass as John's twin. It was creepy yet fascinating at the same time.

"It's alright. I just lost my sanity for a moment that's all." I gave him a smile.

"Hi my name's Joel, I sing in a band called this century." He let out a hand for me to shake.

"Tammy David, no title" I said and he laughed at me.

"So you're the Tammy John never stops talking about" He said giving me a smile.

"Really? I bet that's a different Tammy, John never talks about me." I told him.

"Maybe. Another Tammy with the same hair color and name as you" He said.

I giggled at him and bit my lip. This guy know's how to keep a conversation going.

"So what are you doing here all alone?" He asked me.

"Well I didn't really plan on going to this party, I was supposed to go to this place I used to hang out but John ditched me so I ended up in the kitchen looking for something to drink without alcohol in it and here I am not finding anything." I told him with a laugh.

"You don't drink too? that's awesome" He said.

"Yeah, the feeling of getting drunk and wasted makes me-"

"Sick!" We said in unison

We both laughed and awkwardly looked at each other.

"So that place you used to go to, is it nice there?" He asked me.

"Do you have a car?" I asked him

"Yeah" He said raising an eyebrow on me

"Let's go, I'll show you" I said grabbing his hand and making our way out of the house. He just laughed at me and said how crazy I was.

This guy could be more than just a pretty face, and I'm willing to figure him out.
