He was gorgeous. Tall, blonde, and handsome. Just the kind of guy I DIDN'T want. He breaks hearts, I'm sure of it.
"Elizabeth, this is Jacob," Cassie said.
"Hi," I muttered, looking down.
He smiled.
"Elizabeth. Sounds a little formal... Got a nickname?" he asked.
"Ezzi."
"Cute name," he said, showing a mouthful of perfectly straight teeth.
I nodded and kept looking down.
"Well, get out of here," Cassie demanded.
"I still have to work..." I started.
"You're getting paid to trail him around until he doesn't need you anymore."
I sighed and took off my apron that told everyone where I worked.
We waked out to my car, and I was alone with Jacob.
"Elizabeth, this is Jacob," Cassie said.
