I Wonder What It's Like to Be Loved by You

“Hey beautiful,” Danny smiled at me as I walked down the stairs into the living room.

“Hi babe,” I grinned while leaning down and leaving a kiss on his lips.

“Wait, come here,” He said while moving his guitar off of his lap and hooking an arm around my waist and pulling me onto his lap.

“I’m glad that we’re together,” I told him as his arms hooked around me and he started leaving soft kisses on my neck.

“Me too sweetheart. I love you so much and you’re the perfect girl for me,” Danny replied.

I just smiled as I relaxed into his embrace and we shared some really nice kisses. After a little while, he picked up his guitar and put it on my lap. He then wrapped his arms around so that he could still play his guitar and have me in his lap at the same time.

“Wanna hear one of the songs I wrote for you?” He whispered.

“I’d love to,” I smiled.

Danny gently started strumming his guitar and then started beautifully singing,

“You’re so good at writing music,” I beamed once he finished and I planted a big kiss on his lips.

“I remember when I wrote that. I was missing you so much and I knew you were different from everyone else and that’s really why I wondered what it would be like to be loved by you,” Danny told me.

“Now you know,” I told him.

“Now I know,” He echoed. “And it feels so good. This is the first time that I’ve really felt that my girlfriend loved me for me.”

“I’m glad I could be that person for you,” I grinned while stroking his cheek with my thumb.

“I’m glad too,” Danny smiled while laying his head on my shoulder.

I let out a blissful sigh as we held each other. I felt so wonderful in Danny’s arms. I couldn’t ask for anyone better than him and I’m so glad that we’re are finally together because I truly believe that he is the one that’s meant for me.
