Never Thought It Would Be You

Today’s the day I get to start a new life. Not really a new person life but as in different state life. My names Josephine Livingston but everyone calls me Joey. I lived in New Jersey all my life except for now. My mom and I moved out here during winter break when she was offered a high paid job in California. It was short notice but she took it.

My mom was never married but she did live with a man who I called dad. I didn’t find till I was in middle school that Steven wasn’t actually my father. I also had a brother named Nathan (Nate for short) and a sister named Emma. They didn’t come with because since they’re already in college they didn’t really have to come with us. So they stayed behind and lived with Steven.

I was the only one in my family who wanted to go with so here I am now with my amazing mother living in Huntington Beach, California.
