One Big Happy Family

Later once the storm stopped it only took them a hour to get the power back on. We restarted the movie and Jack made popcorn, we got rid of the cupcakes a while ago since we had a feeling the power would be out until morning. We were wrong. We all laid down on the floor to watch the movie, about halfway through Annie fell asleep. I guess it made sense since it was late. Me and Jack got off the floor because we were getting uncomfortable and we cuddled under a blanket on the couch.

"Having fun?" Jack asked

"Yes, lots" i said

"Good" he said kissing my neck

"Jack" i whinned

"What?" he said

"Dont do that, im trying to watch the movie" i said

"Fine" he yawned laying his head on me

"Tired already?!" i said

"Mhmmm" he said

"Stay awake" i said slapping him lightly

"Your abusive" he said dramatic

"How much did you drink tonight and what was in the drink?" i asked

"I dont no i had like two drinks and i think i put just like a shot of tequila in each" he said and i laughed

"Boozy" i said and he fell asleep and i laughed

I watched the rest of the movie alone since Jack and Annie were both asleep. After the movie ended i got up to turn it off, Jack didnt wake up when i moved. I turned the movie off and picked up the popcorn off the floor and went into the kitchen. I dumped the popcorn out and turned around. Annie walked in and grabbed a beer out of the fridge, she asked me if i wanted one and i shook my head.

"So how long ago did Jack pass out?" she asked

"Uhmmm fourty minutes ago i think" i said

"Ohh. What time is it?" she asked

"12" i said

"Mmmm, so how long have you two been dating?" she asked

"Uhmm like almost two years" i said

"Nice. Jack seems to really love you, he was telling me about you tonight. He had this look of like pure love in his eyes" she said

"Awww sweet. So are you dating?" i asked

"Nope. Every guy i meet is a tool" she said

"Yeah its hard to find someone nice" i said

"Totally" she said

"I feel like we should mess with Jack, you know?. Like put somthing in his hair or put his hand in cold water or hot water which ever it is that makes people pee themselves" i said

"Nahh. Im to tired to mess with him" she laughed

"Yeah im tired to i think im gonna go to bed. Night" i said

"Night" she said drinking her beer and i walked away

I went back to the livingroom and woke up Jack, we both went to his room and went to bed and fell asleep fast. I woke up a few hours later and had to go pee. I got up and went to the bathroom and did what i had to do and went back to bed. While i was trying to fall asleep Jack rolled over and hugged me to him, i laughed and put my head on him.

"Melinda?" Jack said

"Yeah?" i said, i relised he was talking in his sleep which i found so funny

"Marry me. Marry me and have my babys" he said and i froze

"Uhmm...okay sure Jack" i said, he was asleep and wouldnt remember anything anyways

"Good" he said

"Oh boy" i sighed i deffinetly needed to mention this in the morning

The next morning i woke up and went out to the kitchen, Jack was making food and Annie was criticizing his cooking skills. I went to the bathroom and showered and got dressed and went back to the kitchen. Jack was putting food on the table when i walked in.

"Good morning sunshine" he said

"Hey" i said sitting next to Annie

"Did you sleep good last night?" he asked

"Mhmmm" i said as he sat down

"You okay?" he asked

"Yeah. I just-...do you remember your dream from last night?" i asked

"Nope not at all. Why?" he asked

"Because-...nevermind" i said, this was harder to mention then i thought
