One Big Happy Family

-A few days later-

Sophies POV:
Today was my first day back to work since i had the babys, i was beyond nervous. I got up and showered and then went back to the bedroom and put on my yellow scrubs. I looked over at Alex and he was sleeping. I couldnt help but think about how he had to be in the studio today. That means the babys will have to be watched by someone, i wasnt happy about that. I went and made food and as soon as i sat down to eat Alex walked in.

"Hey babe" he said sitting down next to me

"Hi...why are you in just your underwear. I swear you had shorts and a shirt on last night when we went to bed" i said

"It got hot. Anyways, excited for work?!" he said

"No" i said

"Why not?" he said

"I'll miss them and you have work to do to so that means you need to drop them off somewhere, i hate that" i said

"It'll be okay. Oh and that somewhere is gonna be my parents house" he laughed

"Good. But i just thought of somthing. I'll be around sick people, what if i bring somthing home and they get sick!" i said

"Oh so your worried about them getting sick but not me, nice babe" he laughed

"Alex your a grown man you can take care of yourself, you can fight off stuff. Their little babys they cant" i said

"Whatever babe it'll be fine, when are you leaving?" he said

"Soon" i said sad

"Okay. By the way you'll need to pick up the twins later" he said

"Fine but that means you'll need to drive my car since its a smart car and to small for kids" i said

"Fine" he said

"When do you need to go to the studio?" i asked him

"12 until like i dont no...6 or somthing" he said and i sighed

A little while later i went and kissed the babys and then left for work, i dont wanna leave them at all. I got to work and went back into my routine. I had alot of work to do, i had to help like four different doctors prep people for surgery and of course there was the regular injuries. At lunch time i went to the break room and there was two of my friends at the table who i havnt seen since before the babys were born.

"Hey Sophie!" they both said

"Hi!" i said

"Your back!, how are the babys!" my friend Jenny said getting up to hug me and then my friend Courtney hugged me

"Their good, almost to the point of sleeping through the night. Or i mean atleast Casey is, its hard because they tend to wake eachother" i said

"Yeah. Is it good to be back?" she asked as we all sat down

"Sorta. I miss them, and Alex to" i said

"Yeah i bet" Courtney said

"Sophie, after your break can you come help me insert a cathiter?" a doctor said coming in the room

"Mhmm" i said bitting the sandwich i had

"Great thanks" she said and left

After my break i got back to work, the day seriously dragged on. At the end of the day i left work and drove straight to Alex's parents house to get Casey and Micah. Ive missed them all day. I got to his parents house and knocked on the door, his mom answered after a few minutes.

"Hey Sophie" she said

"Hi" i said

"Come on in" she said letting me in

"So how were they, did they cry alot?" i said

"Kinda. Its insane how much Casey is like Alex, she was making faces at me that Alex used to make. It was cute" she said and i laughed

"Aww thats adorable" i said

"Yeah, you probably wanna take them home. Huh?" she said

"Yes!, ive missed them all day!" i said and she went into the other room to get them and came back a few minutes later with the babys in their carseat and their diaper bag

"Here they are" she said

"My babys!, thanks for watching them" i said taking them and their bag

"No problem" she said

"Okay well bye" i said and left

We went home and i put the babys on a blanket on the floor in the livingroom with some toys. I had some paperwork to do, this was my way of multi-tasking. I was sitting on the couch for five minutes before Micah started crying, i sighed and went and picked him up. I relised he was hungry so i made a bottle for him and fed him while i worked. About fifteen minutes later the door opened, Alex was home.

"Hey babe, hello my beautiful children" Alex said picking up Casey

"Hey" i said

"Oh wow well arnt you talented, feeding and working at the same time" he said

"Yep" i said

"So how was the day?" he asked

"Pretty good, i missed you and my babys. How was the studio?" i said

"Awww same here. And it was good i feel like my voice is starting to go" he said

"Awesome" i said

"Mhmm" he said

"Your mom told me Casey was making faces you used to make when you were a baby. I thought that was so cute" i said

"Oh really. Were you making faces at grandma, huh?" he said talking to Casey and made a mad face at her and she copied and we laughed

"Shes so adorable, both of them are" i said

"Yeah they are" he said smiling at Casey
