One Big Happy Family

That night me and Sophie went to bed and we didnt sleep much. Micah woke us up and when Sophie checked on him she said he had diaper rash. So all night each time he woke he was fussy for like a hour, it was so frusterating. The next morning me and Sophie were both sitting at the kitchen table there was a knock on the door. Sophie got up and answered it, it was Jack.

"Hey buddy" he walking in with Sophie and they both sat back down

"Hi" i said

"You two look like hell, what happened?" he asked

"Micah kept us up all night, i got like i dont know. Four full hours of sleep" i said

"I got like less then that" Sophie said

"No fun" he said

"Yeah" i said

"Why dont you two go out tonight and have some alone time?" he said

"Yeah right. Who will watch the babys" Sophie said

"I will!" he said

"Do you even know how to change a diaper or prepare a bottle?" i asked

"Yes, my cousin has a one month old son. I occasionally babysit for her" he said

"I dont no Jack" Sophie said

"Come on let me babysit!" he said

"Uhmm...sure why not" Sophie said

"Sweet!" he said

Later that night me and Sophie got ready to go out on a date, its been a while and im so excited. Sophie on the other hand is but isnt. Shes afraid to leave the babys with Jack, she kept saying maybe it was a bad idea and i had to convince her it was fine. I finished getting ready before her and when she walked into the livingroom she looked stessed.

"Hey baby" i said

"Hi" she said

"Ready to go?" i asked

"I...no" she said

"Its gonna be fine trust me" i said

"I dont no, i think i'd feel a little better if Melinda came and helped out" she said

"I'll call her" Jack said

"Fine. Ughh but its so hard!, i hate that im so nervous" she said picking Micah up off Jacks lap

"Yeah well your a new mother and you havnt left the babys alone with someone thats not me. Its normal" i said

"True. Just call Melinda, okay?" she asked putting Micah back on Jacks lap

"Of course" Jack said

"Okay, bye babys" she said kissing each baby and so did i and then we left

We left and went to a resturaunt for dinner, it was so nice being just the two of us. It was so nice and quiet. We had a great time at dinner, we were able to just talk without interuptions. After dinner i drove us down to the beach and we decided to go for a walk.

"So are you enjoying yourself so far?" i asked

"Mhmm, im so glad i decided to do this" she said grabbing my hand and cuddling into me

"Good im glad to" i said

"Yeah, its nice being just us but i miss the babys. Its gonna be so hard when i go back to work" she said

"Yeah it is. Plus me and the guys have to finish the album that same week like we need to be in the studio basically everyday for like 10 hours .So i'll be in he studio alot, alot" i said, we had been working on the album on and off since before i met Sophie and now we need to really finish it

"Oh man, with you in the studio and me working where are the babys gonna go?" she asked

"My mom probably would" i said

"Okay" she said

We continued to walk for a little while longer and then we decided to go get ice cream. After we had ice cream we decided to go home, it was getting pretty late and im sure Melinda and Jack were going insane. I was driving and we pulled to a red light.

"I had so much fun tonight" i said

"Me to" she said

"We should do this again before you go back to work" i said

"Oh we deffinetly will" she said and the light turned green so i went

"Good its a shame we cant do this every-" i started but she cut me off

"Alex look out!" Sophie yelled and i looked over to the left and saw a bus coming before everything went black

We just had car accident...
