Avelyn placed her hand on his cheek and gave a weak smile.

"I was nine when I lost my parents. I don't know how you feel. No one does. You're first love turns out to be cold and shallow. Not all of us are like her. Start living again Cam, cause you might let something slip away." she said before dropping her hand and she turned to walk into the cabin. Cam starred at the door for a minute before raising his hand and turned it into a fist to knock on the door.

Avelyn opened the door a second later, she had waited for him. He pulled her into his arms neither of them saying a word. She hugged him tightly before sighing. "I can't promise you anything. But I can't let you slip away either." Cam said breathing in her scent.

"Then don't." she replied.
