She's Been Running Through My Dreams

To say I was scared shitless was an under statement. I put that I was single back on my face book. I set up that Jordan would babysit Janie, and Lisa was gonna be here in 15 minutes. Jordan was teaching Janie how to play guitar. Yes, my baby girl is a well rounded music girl. I slid my jean shorts on with a neon green cami and a black loose tank top. I still have my style even though I’m a mom. The doorbell rang and I screamed.

I ran to the door and saw Lisa, I put my hand up telling her 5 more minutes. I ran back into my room, I through my straightened hair up into a messy pony tail. My side bangs were falling out already but I didn’t care. I slide my converse on and kissed Janie goodnight.

Lisa led me to the tour bus and I was anxious. Scared shitless. Lisa told me to stay out here until she pulled Matt outside. I bit my lip ring. I looked down at my tattoo. It was a music note on my wrist.

“Audrey..” I heard, I looked up and saw Matt. He looked so good…

“Matt…” I said quietly, we walked closer to each other.

“Do you hate me?” He asked. I shook my head, “She asks me about you every day.” I explained. He smiled.

“I still love you, Matt.” I said knowing what he was gonna ask.

“What about Jordan?” He asked confused, he bit his own lip ring.

“It was a joke. He’s watching Janie right now.” I explained, again.

“What’s Janie’s full name?” Matt asked.

“Janie Madison Flyzik.” I said smiling. Matt took my hands in his.

“She has my last name..” He said out loud. I nodded. He pulled me closer.

“Audrey, I’m so sorry. I never wanted the past to happen but I need you in my life, and Janie. It’s a fact.” I cut him off by kissing him. Damn, I’ve missed this.
