Our legs were intertwined when I woke up. I was resting my right hand on his torso.
I was so happy to have him in my life, that I couldn't even find a word, or even a sentence to describe my feelings. Every single thing I thought would describe my feelings was just not enough. It was more than happiness. More than love. More than perfection.
"John." I whispered and tapped my fingers gently on his chest.
"Hmm."
"Wake up."
He opened his eyes and looked at me, sleepy. He then smiled.
"Good morning." I smiled
"Did you sleep well?" John said.
"Couldn't have better." I yawned.
John kissed me and we stayed for some more minutes, before going downstairs to have breakfast. John then left as he had to do some things.
Garrett was the first to come downstairs.
"Good morning!" I told him.
"Hey." He scratched the back of his head. "Is there some coffee left?"
I nodded and poured coffee into a mug, then gave it to Garrett.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
"Is Logan still asleep?" He asked.
"Yes. When are you taking him back home?"
"I don't know...but probably soon."
I took the one last sip of my coffee. "So, I think I'm gonna go wake him up now..."
"Do you think he likes cereal?" I assumed Garrett would prepare his breakfast.
"I guess so."
I walked upstairs and opened the door. I sat on one side of the bed and tried to wake Logan up.
"Wake up sleepy head." I said, lowly. "You gotta get ready to go back home."
"I wanna stay..." He said, and turned back.
"Garrett is waiting for you downstairs with a bowl of cereal, come ooon." I tickled him.
Logan started twitching and laughing. "What kind of cereal?" He said, turning back again, looking at me with his big eyes.
"I don't know...let's go to the kitchen and discover it."
An hour later or so, Logan was ready to go back home.
"Yes, you can come anytime you want." I laughed.
"And Lucky will be here?"
"Of course!"
"I'll come back, doggy!" Logan tapped with his hand Lucky's head. Then, he kissed me on the cheek and hugged me. "Bye Jessie!"
"Goodbye Logan!" I waved as he got into Garrett's car.
Dakota was still sleeping. This girl...

After I got off the shower, I thought I'd call Pat, so that's what I did.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hey Pat, it's Jess."
"Oh, hi, Jess!"
"Are you free for lunch?"
"Sure! Do you like tacos?"
"I do."
We met at 1.30 pm at Taco Bell. He was waiting when I arrived.
