Save your heart.

You take my breath away.

"I'm excited." I told John, putting a handful of popcorn in my mouth.

We went to the cinema to watch The Lucky One, a film base on a Nicholas Sparks book, as if it was the first adaptation of one of his novels. This man must have enough money to clean his butt with bills, I'm telling you. Not the best book, let alone best movie, but I had read the book a while ago, and it's always exciting to see something you've spent some time with, portrayed in the big screen. The cast had nothing to do -physically- with the characters I had imagined in my mind, though. Zac Efron was not Logan Thibault and I'm not going to lie, it pissed me off quite a bit.

I spent more time cuddling with John in the theatre than watching the movie, though. He was more interesting, to be honest. After the movie finished, we ordered some take away and walked around the mall next to the theatre eating the food.

"You would look good in that." I told John, pointing to one of those massive, Borat style thongs.

"I could pull that off." He was serious.

"I'll buy you one next time I come around."

"You can buy me one now..." I thought he was joking.

"Alright. Hold my food." I said, walking to the shop, smiling. I found it really funny that he was serious.

"Hold on. But... on condition that I buy you whatever I want and you will have to wear it."

"I'm on." It was not like I was going to do the shopping dressed in whatever he was going to buy, so... I went in an bought the green thong. "But just so you know, it's not fair that you already know what I bought and I don't know what you're going to buy."

"Well, I don't think you're going to know it anytime soon either, so I apologize." He laughed.

"Wait, you already know what is it?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. Give me a clue."

"No way. And come on, finish your dinner. We're going somewhere."

"What's up with all these secrets?" I cried.

"We're just going to that place where we ate cotton candy and lemon ice cream." He chuckled. "No big deal."

"Oh, alright. Sorry I'm impatient sometimes..." I kissed him and he carried me on his back all the way to the car. If I could just stop the time... I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. I really did, and I didn't care I wasn't even 30 years old. I knew I wanted it. But why would I rush the things when I could enjoy the moment. He was everything that I had ever asked for, and so much more.

Again, sorry it's a short one. I've just finished my university entrance exams and it's been exhausting. I'm free all summer now, so prepare for a whole lot of chapters, and possibly, the end of the fanfiction! Hope you like it!
