Just Keep Breathing.

You've got a way of keepin' me on my toes.

I woke up the next morning to music playing and I looked around for a moment confused as to where I was. I sat up rubbing my cheek and looking around wondering where the music was coming from once I realized I was still in Katie's apartment.

I got up groggily and followed the some sort of pop music playing. I leaned against the door frame of Katie's bedroom a grin hitting my sleepy face as I watched her singing along to some song as she brushed her hair in a mirror.

I was already failing miserably on the 'find something wrong' with her plan.

She turned around and jumped when she saw me and I chuckled, "By all means continue."

She blushed instantly and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I like this song." She mumbled crossing her arms.

"I noticed."

"Shush."

I chuckled and walked further into her room and fell onto her already made bed. I swear I heard her gasp from here.

"Oh my, it's worse than I fought." I mumbled and she crossed her arms, "what is?"

"Yeh have like ocd!"

"Do not." She mumbled.

"Reallah? Open yeh closet."

"No." She said crossing her arms and I smirked as I got up. She stood in front of her closet door and I stared down at her, "Katie. Move."

"No. You're gonna make fun of me." She said with a pout.

"I'd neva." I said placing my hands on her waist.

"Might laugh but neva make fun of yeh." I said pulling her from the door and opening it.

I couldn't help but start laughing because it was all color coordinated.

"Tom!" She whined tugging on my arm.

"I juss wanna..." I started to say as I picked up a white shirt and placed it into the blue side.

She whined and buried her face into my shoulder.

"Stop it. You're a very mean british boy." She mumbled.

I laughed as she stared at me in agony.

"Bet yeh won't leave it there." I challenged.

"Bet I can!"

I smiled, "well we shall see. Are yeh done? I need ta go change and showa before we go ta work."

"Ok." She said giving the closet one more look.

I chuckled and she grabbed up her bag before leaving the room. I of course put the shirt back where it went I just wasn't going to tell her that yet.

I quickly walked into her living room and she had folded the cover I slept with.

I chuckled as I slid on my shoes. so she was really ocd. But was that such a bad thing? Probably not.

"I don't know if I want yeh ta come ta my house now."

"Why?"

"Yeh gonna have a heart attack because it's not this clean."

"Nah, I just like my stuff to be clean. Ready?"

I nodded as I slid my jacket back on and we headed to my hotel.

"Let me guess what yeh finkin bout." I said after silence filled the space between us.

She giggled, "ok shoot."

"Yeh finkin bout how that white shirt is mixed in wif yeh blue ones."

She glared at me and I chuckled.

"Maybe." She mumbled.

I laughed and slid my arm over her shoulders, "oh Katie bug. Wanna know a secret?"

"Coming from you? I don't know."

I smiled, "I put tha shirt back where it belonged."

She pushed me away causing me to laugh.

"I don't like you." She said crossing her arms and I grabbed her arm, "yes yeh do."

"That's mean. That would have literally drove me insane all day."

"Then be glad I told yeh."

She rolled her eyes and I grinned, "look. Let meh make it up ta yeh. I'll buy yeh some coffee on our way ta work."

"Ok." She said softly.

I chuckled as I dropped my hold on her although I found myself not wanting to.

"Hey Katie?"

She looked up at me and I spoke, "yeh gotta boyfriend?"

Yeah it was a bit random, but it was something that I found myself eager to know.

A grin hit her lips, "Where would I have a boyfriend? In America?"

I shrugged, "Possibly."

"Well, I don't."

"Have one here?"

She laughed, "I don't have one at all."

I nodded with a grin as we reached my hotel.

"And you?" She asked and I chuckled, "well I don't have a boyfriend anywhere."

She giggled, "I hope not."

I smiled at her, "Nah I don't have a girlfriend."

"And why not?"

"Maybe yeh will find out this weekend..." I responded, the thought of Lexi crossing my mind.

"I don't know what that means but I already don't like it."

I laughed as I unlocked my door, "nah, juss, wrong girls yeh know?"

"Oh you date crazy girls?" She asked as she bounced on my bed.

"Nah, juss yeh know, I'm kind of tha one that always gets hurt." I said as I dug through my bag.

"What? Why?"

I looked up at her and shrugged, "yeh know, juss always overly nice and I guess the whole good guy fing isn't cool anymore."

"You? nice?" She teased and I grinned, "use ta be."

She frowned, "just because a few people don't appreciate you doesn't mean you have to change who you are. That's their loss if they can't see how awesome you are."

"Yeh fink I'm awesome?"

"Well, sort of..."

I chuckled, "I'm gonna showa be righ' back. Don't clean anyfing." I said sternly and she sighed falling back onto the bed.

I couldn't contain the smile on my face as I entered the bathroom. This girl for some reason gave me hope.

I showered and got ready and when I came out Katie was sitting in the chair flipping through one of my photography books and of course the bed was made.

I rolled my eyes with a grin and she looked up at me, "ready?"

"Yeh made tha bed."

She frowned, "I couldn't help it. I was bored."

I chuckled and grabbed my camera bag, "let's go."

She placed my book back on the table and followed me to the door.

"We gotta hurry if I'm late life will be over." She said looking at her phone.

"Chill out lil yank."

She crossed her arms and blew at her hair.

"Easy for you to say."

"Yeah it is. I'm tha photographa and don't make me yell at that woman for bein' rude ta yeh."

"Oh gosh please don't."

"Well she betta be nice."

Once we got to the now familiar building I followed her into the same studio we were in yesterday. Lindy of course was there ordering people around already.

"Oh there you are." She said to Katie and I watched intently as she handed Katie some papers and she rushed her off.

"Oh hello Tom. Ready for the day?" She asked nicer to me than she was to Katie and I nodded, "Yep."

"Do you know Katelyn?" She asked I guess because she noticed us walking in together.

"Yeah. She's my girlfriend." I said sitting my camera down and I looked over at her and she seemed a bit taken aback. I honestly just wanted her to back off of her so hopefully that would help. Of course I could imagine the embarrassment on Katie's face already.

"Oh really?! Katie never mentioned that!" She said and I nodded, "she's quiet."

Which was so true.

She nodded and forced a smile, "That's lovely. Well, it should be any moment so you might want to set up. I'll leave you alone."

I nodded and chuckled to myself as I set everything up. Katie was going to kill me.

Once I was set up Katie had returned to adjust the fan for the models.

"Katie, come here." I said waving her over.

"Yes?"

"I told Lindy yeh my girlfriend so she'd leave yeh 'lone." I said with a grin and like expected her cheeks turned a bright red.

"Tom!" She said hitting my arm lightly and I chuckled, "yeh shoulda seen her face. Priceless."

"Ugh." She groaned and I tried not to laugh, "stop stressin'. Today gonna be a breeze."

She whined and I grabbed her hand, "relax."

She closed her eyes and breathed in.

"Ok." She mumbled. I leaned down and kissed her cheek.

Her hair fell into her face as she tried to shy away from me. I brushed her hair back with a grin. How could anyone not find her simply adorable?

"You're going to get me fired." She mumbled and I laughed, "will not."

She nodded and spoke, "come on. We gotta start."

I smiled and stepped back in front of my camera, "Ok, love."

She gave me an eye roll before walking off causing me to laugh.

Oh that girl.

The day was a short one and Lindy was of course surprisingly nicer to Katie. Go figure.

By noon we were done and I was putting my stuff up when Katie appeared.

"Lunch?" She asked with a grin as she leaned onto the table.

"Are yeh wantin' ta go or askin' what I want?"

"Wanting to go."

"Mhm, well first I need an apology because yeh day has clearly been betta fanks ta meh."

She chuckled, "fine. I'm glad you chose to be my fake boyfriend today."

I laughed, "welcome. Can yeh leave?"

"If my boyfriend does I can. At least from what I gather that's the case."

I smiled, "in that case. Come on." I said grabbing her hand.

She laughed as I pulled her to Lindy so she could know we were leaving.

"Thank you very much Tom." She said and I pulled my hand from Katie's to shake her hand, "thanks for havin' meh. If yeh eva need anotha let meh know. Would be my pleasure." I lied and she smiled, "Thank you so much. I definitely will. The pictures are fantastic."

"Thank you."

We said goodbye and I grabbed up Katie's hand again.

"Well, that went well." I said as we walked outside.

"When's your next job?" She asked as she continued to hold my hand.

"Um, I dunno. Haven't reallah taken up any offas."

"Why not?" She asked and I grinned as I looked down at her, "why? Yeh want meh ta stay here?"

She nodded before looking back at the ground.

I smiled as we walked down the street. She just made me happy. Was that so wrong?

"No worries, I'll be here next week." I finally said as we found somewhere to eat.

"Cool." She said as we sat down and I chuckled, "cool. Such a yank yeh are."

"So, excited ta leave wif meh tomorra?"

"Worried."

I laughed, "why?"

She shrugged and I leaned my arms onto the table, "my mates are loud and a bit mental."

"Comforting..."

"Don't be so shy."

"I'm not!"

"Yeh are so. I fink it's propa cute but yeh should get ta know'em. Yeh will like'em."

She blushed and looked down at the menu in front of her.

I smiled as I leaned back into my chair. Tomorrow would be very interesting that was for sure. I was also nervous because Katelyn and Lexi in the same atmosphere terrified me for some reason.
