I Don't Believe in Fairytales

"Wait till I get my fucking hands on you Vengeance!"

My eyes snapped open waking me up due to the loud yelling down the hall. I rubbed my eyes trying to erase the sleep from my body as I sat up in bed.

"Shadows, calm the fuck down!" Gates shouted.

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down Gates. I specifically told you Vengeance not to fucking touch her!" Shadows voice boomed through out the the house.

"What the fuck is your problem, Shads, before you let anyone fuck around with your girls, but not this one? What makes her so different then all the others?" Vengeance asked with cockiness and annoyance laced in his voice.

No one answered and the house was once again silent but that was quickly cut short by the sound of skin hitting against skin. I could hear them as they both threw punches at each other.

"Enough! Stop it!" Rev shouted.

"Nothing is going to come out of this if you two beat the shit out of each other. You both need to learn how to respect women instead of treating them as property!"

Loud footsteps echoed in the hallway followed by complete silence. I heard someone approaching the room so I quickly laid back down on the bed throwing the covers over me and closing my eyes. The door to the bedroom swung open before someone walked into the room. I felt the bed move as they got onto it next to me.

"Trinity, I know your awake." Shadows voice filled my ears making me slowly open my eyes to see him sitting down on my left side looking down at me.

"I know you heard what just happened," he said which I nodded my head and kept my mouth shut not looking directly in his eyes.

"Why did you let him do that?" he asked and I could tell he was angry, but he was trying to hold it in.

"Why does it matter? What difference does it make if he fucks me when you do it all the time!" I didn't realize I was yelling until I saw how angry Shadows looked.

"It does fucking matter if he fucks you! You belong to me!" he shouted.

"Like hell I fucking belong to you!"

"I paid five million fucking dollars for you so you fucking belong to me!"

I could feel the anger in me rising and I knew I was about to explode. I got up off the bed and walked out of the room ignoring Shadows yelling at me. My breathing was erratic as I tried to calm down my anger while walking downstairs towards the backyard. Steeping out of the house and outside I made my way towards the middle of the large open grass backyard before I screamed at the top of my lungs.

When I stopped some of my anger subsided and my heart rate and breathing quickened at a fast pace. I fell on my back onto the grass looking up at the beautiful blue sky above. My gaze moved to the back door of the house as it opened and Christ came out waking over towards me. Neither one of us said anything as he laid down beside me on the grass.

"Why does he even care if Vengeance fucked me he isn't any better," I said breaking the comfortable silence between us.

"Shadows is very possessive he doesn't want anyone touching his possessions," he said.

"I am not one of his possessions."

"That is not what Shadows thinks."

"I don't give a fuck what he thinks. How the hell did he even find out about what happened?" I asked making Christ laugh.

"How do you think Shadows knows everything that happens around here?" I stared at him confused shrugging my shoulders.

He pointed his finger back to the house near the roof of it. My eyes widened as I finally saw that their was cameras all around the house. Realization came to me as I stood up off the grass stomping back towards the house. I walked through the house making my way to the stairs passing the living room where Vengeance was watching a movie. He noticed me and turned to glare at me making me quickly look away and keep on walking. His whole face was bruised with a few cuts along his lip, eyebrow, and cheek.

I made my way upstairs towards Shadows room hoping he wasn't in there. Opening the door I stepped in to see the room was empty. I closed the door behind me before scanning my eyes across the room. I spotted the tiny hole on the ceiling as I moved over to the bed pushing it towards the far left corner of the room. Stepping on top of the bed I stood on my tip toes and peered up at the small hole.

My eyes see the lens of the camera as I touched the ceiling trying to make the hole bigger so I could take it out. I scrapped my finger nails against the ceiling chipping away at the hole making it bigger. Finally I made the hole big enough where my small fingers could slip in. I grabbed the camera with my fingers yanking it and pulling it out of the ceiling. The small camera came out along with the many wires connected to it.

I jumped off of the bed holding the camera in my hand while making my way out of the bedroom. Looking down the hallway I tried to figure out where Shadows was, but instead I saw Gates exiting out of his room. I walked towards him watching as he gazed at me and the camera curiously.

"Where's Shadows?" I asked.

"I think he's in his office downstairs, why?"

I didn't answer his question as I turned back around and walked downstairs. I walked towards the back of the house past the kitchen, living room, and entertainment room. I stopped at the last door opening it and stepping inside. Shadows was sitting down in a chair behind his mahogany desk reading some papers in his hands. Marching over to his desk I slammed the camera down in front of him.

"I think this belongs to you," I said.

I smiled innocently at him when on the inside I was cursing him out. His face looked between anger and shock as he opened and closed his mouth not knowing what to say.

"You should learn something called fucking privacy asshole!" I screamed at him.

I could tell I was pushing him closer and closer to the edge as his face turned red with anger. He got up from his chair before walking around the desk and standing in front of me looking down.

"Don't ever fucking talk to me like that again you lost your fucking privacy when I brought you into this house. Your fucking lucky you get any privacy in this house because if I wanted to I would make you walk around here naked!"

"I can fucking talk to you anyway I want. I am through with you pushing me around and using me like I'm nothing. You are just a heartless monster that buys women so you could force them to have sex with you because we both know nobody would ever want to have sex with a cold hearted bastard like you!"

I didn't see him raise his hand until I felt the sharp stinging sensation of it hitting across my cheek. My body fell backwards onto the floor from the force as I gripped onto my cheek feeling the tears prick my eyes. I couldn't mask the hurt on my face as I looked up at Shadows who stared down at me with an emotionless face. He opened his mouth to say something but I quickly got to my feet and ran out of the office and back upstairs with tears running down my face.
