Just A lonely Star
Prologue- I'm dead set on a getaway
I heard the door slam behind me.
‘FUCK YOU! I’M OUTTA HERE!’ I screamed at the closed door. The door of my `home’. That word is laughable, this is no home anymore. I flagged down a taxi, threw my case into the trunk and got in.
`JFK airport, please’ This was time for my adventure.
I arrived at the airport and ran to the desk with my case.
`What flights are available?’
`Well we have Florida in 10 minutes, Spain in 30 minutes, Paris in 40 and London in 45’ said the woman at the desk.
Florida was in the same country so no to that. I hate the heat. So Paris or London, well I already spoke English so London it is.
`One way ticket to London then please’
`Ok, let me run that through then’
I got my tickets and went through security, finally settling down in a chair at the gate. Gate number 3 was my gateway to a great adventure and I could not wait.
