Silky and smooth

I screamed so loud that I thought I tasted blood. The
creature snarled at me and rose to its feet. I quickly
backed away but, step in the glass. Tears fell down my eyes
not only because of the pain but, because of my mother.
The pain I felt wasn’t simply because of the class that cut
my foot. N o this was much deeper. The only person in my
life that I loved so dearly just got murdered by a creature
that seems so otherworldly.
I felt as if my soul has been ripped out of my body. It didn’t
matter any ways. I’m a orphan now, so why should I care If I
live or die. My back hit the wall and I slide to the floor. The
creature seemed to sense my resolve because it smiled. This
thing that was going to kill me to was so frightening but, yet
was so beautiful. I didn’t feel the pain in my feet any more
because I gave up on my self. All I knew was that today,
both my mother and I would be discovered with barely any
meat on our bones. What a horrible way to die.

I closed my eyes and felt the creature roam over my body. It
touched my hair and then my body. It was so disgusting
that for a second I thought about attempting an escape.
But, my idea was crushed when the thing picked up my
forearm and bite it.

I screamed at the excruciating pain and opened my eyes. I
tried to pry it off me but, it had strength of a thousand
men. It would not let go! I screamed and screamed. How
could I not hear my mother’s screams when she was
attacked? I did not know nor would it matter because I
would die just as she did. The sad thing about dying is that
No one would give a flying-fuck about us being dead. It’s
funny how life is.
The creature begin to pull at my skin and I knew it was
going to rip it off and eat it. But, before it did something
hit it with such swiftness that I didn’t believe it happened
until it screamed in utter pain. I didn’t look at what
happened next. I just closed my eyes and let the darkness
engulf me.
