When the Devil Meets an Angel

Xenos and Sammi were lying in the meadow, peacefully asleep.
Of course, what led to this was when Sammi's father suggested they should sleep under the stars.
After all, it was a full moon.
They had taken horses out to the meadow.
xenos had taken a liking to a pitch black male horse called Midnight.
Sammi's horse was female and her name was Evanlyn. She was pure white, kind of like a unicorn.
"Why'd you name her Evanlyn?" Xenos had asked her.
"Evanlyn was my grandmother's name." Sammi replied quietly.
"Oh."
Thats when they had dozed off...

Sammi was awoken by the bright lights of the sunrise.
She smiled and woke up Xenos.
"Yeah?" he muttered.
"WHOA!" Xenos exclaimed. "I've never seen a sunrise."
"I wake up every morning to see sunrises." Sammi said matter-of-factly.

"I've got breakfeast in the saddle bag."
Sammi got out some apples and two water bottles. She also got out a big container of something.
"What's that?" Xenos asked.
"Caramel." Sammi answers. "We can share."
She got a small cutting board and a knife out.
She quickly cut them up and dumped them into a bowl Xenos found in the backpack Mr. Redwoods gave him.
"Why don't you live with us?" Sammi asked.
