Hold Me Close

Now, this is where the story really begins. Though, I still don't know what the ending will be, or how everything will turn out.

Daniel was dating Emma. Emma was my friend, but she didn't know of anything between me and Daniel. I told him that nothing could happen and I made a promise that if Emma was to get her feelings hurt, it would not be because of me. Daniel and I still talked, and we still tried to sort things out.

We were complicated, and we had been from the beginning. He asked me if Emma wasn't in the picture, what did I want to come from us? I told him not to ask me that, it wasn't fair.
He was the one to rush into the relationship with Emma, he should stick by that choice and try and make it work. She was a sweet girl, it was the best way to describe her. She just wasn't a mean person.

Daniel and I kept texting and we both liked each other, we knew it too. At school, we ignored each other. We knew that if we were in the same room, some suspicion would come up.
