too much and the band turn on each other?Could this

When confronted with the question, the record

Everything may be silent for now on the State-Side

Wanted Dead Or Alive?

So we've all heard the rumours going around
about ourfavourite rock star, but how many are
true and how many can we believe? Speculation
across the interwebs suggest that outrageous
party animal (and one heck of a live performer)
Johnny Carolina is dead. We at Music Box don't
believe this. Being a big fan of State-Side myself,
I will only believe that Carolina is dead the day the
world implodes. Others say that the body found was
really him and it's all a cover up. And what of the
strange look Curtis York gave Tommy Nevada on
the Keith Poeman show, at the mention of missing
Johnny? Curious. And as the UK's No. 1 music
magazine, we intend to get to the bottom of it for you.
Have any thoughts on where Johnny Carolina went?

Zach Montana Speaks out!

Zach Montana, lead guitarist for State-Side,
speaks up about the disappearance of his
bands singer, Johnny Carolina. An official
statement was given early this morning via
the bands website. The message read as
follows: “To the fans, we would like to thank
you all for your love and support. We wish
Johnny a safe return and want nothing more
than to drink some fine whiskey and pull out
our guitars for a jam. It is a sad time for us
right now. Johnny lingers on everything we see
and his music litters every surface of our studio.
I can confirm that we haven't heard from Johnny,
nor do we know where he is. We do not believe
him to be dead but, knowing Johnny, I can't say
he's not in trouble. We are aware of the rumours
around the internet. We pay them no attention.
As a band, we have agreed to put State-Side on
indefinite hiatus until Johnny is found. We can't
do this without him and why would we want to?
We would also like to apologise to our American
fans. We hope to get out to you as soon as possible.
Thanks again for the support of the fans. Means
a lot. Zach.”

The sound of breaking hearts

Do you hear that? Yes that. It's the sound of State-Side
fan's hearts breaking everywhere, mine included. After
The Weekly Words article on Zach Montana's blog post,
fans across the world despair as State-Side use the
most lethal words in music history. 'indefinite hiatus.'
These are words we at Music Box never imagined a
band of such prestige to be using over the Internet. And
still the rumours continue, getting wilder and wilder by
the hour it seems. I wonder if the world will ever know
the truth of Johnny Carolina's whereabouts? Montana
and the guys are clearly only interested in the facts, and
who can blame them? As much as I hate the hiatus, I
must admit that I wouldn't want them to continue without
Johnny either. Hang in there boys!

Exclusive: Grace Chapman tells all

Grace Chapman, girlfriend to famous rock star
Johnny Carolina, speaks her mind in this gripping,
emotional interview. We ask her the truth about her
boyfriend's disappearance, her struggle with the
rest of the band, and the last moments she spent
with him. Grace kindly agreed to take time out of
her day to tell us what's going on inside that pretty
blonde head of hers.

So Grace tell me what you're feeling right now.

“Anxiety?” She tries to smile. “he's been missing
about three weeks now. My life just feels so empty
without him. I really don't know what I'll do if he
doesn't come back.” She lowers her eyes and
bravely fights off hordes of tears.

When was the last time you saw him?

“I last saw him at a club in London called
'Roof On Fire.' It was after their final gig in the
UK. We actually had a fight and I left early.
That was the last time I saw him”

What did you fight about?

“It seems so silly now, but I caught him
flirting with a barmaid.” She shrugs and
smiles. “I guess that should be expected
of Johnny. It's part of his charm. But we
argued and I left. If I'd have known it would
be the last time I saw him I would never have-”
Grace wipes at the tears on her cheeks and
struggles on. “I wouldn't have left. I miss him
so much.”

What went through your head when you heard
he was missing?

“Nothing. I couldn't think at all. When I heard,
I went straight over to the band's studio and
found Kevin. I tried to ask him about Johnny
but he said he was too busy to talk to me and
told me to go away.”

Do you have much contact with the rest of the band?

“They don't tell me anything. I try to find out if
they hear any news but they don't want to talk
to me about it.”

What about the argument with Zach Montana?

“I was just asking to be kept in the loop. He freaked
out on me. They're all turning so paranoid. They
wont tell anyone anything about Johnny. Is it too much
to ask to simply be told if they know whether my
boyfriend is alive or not?” I say it's not too much to
ask for at all. Grace composes herself and is ready
to continue.

What do you think happened to Johnny?

Grace shrugs. “Knowing Johnny?” She grins.
“He'd be drunk somewhere in Vegas. But I know
he's not in Vegas.”

How?

“He wouldn't miss a tour just to go on a month-long
bender in Sin City. He loves the party scene and he's
a big drinker, but the music is most important to him.
He wouldn't let anything come between him and the
music. He's a true musician. He feels it. He breaths
it. It's apart of him.”

Are you and Johnny in love?

She nods with a fond smile. “We are. We've only been
together a few months really but it's real. I'm the
longest relationship he's had. We're in love and I just
want him back.”

If you could speak to Johnny now, what would you say?

“Come home,” she says desperately, breaking the
heart of everyone in the room before a fresh set of
tears overwhelm her. To the world, Johnny Carolina
may just be “that missing rock star.” But to Grace
Chapman he is a missing loved one. A hole in her
heart. All she can do now is wait and hope that
the man she loves so much comes home like
she wishes for.
