"Ok, we are at the airport, you better be on the way." Josh said into the phone knowing that Greyson hadn't even left yet.

"I am! See you soon!" She said rushing about to make sure she had everything before leaving. She hung up with him and grabbed her keys before flying to the front door only to run straight into someone she didn't expect since it was almost midnight.

"Look, I'm late to pick up Josh so can we do this speech of love some other time?" She asked trying to move past him.

He grabbed her shoulders and she gave him a confused look finally smelling the stench of alcohol on him.

"Blaine, let me go." She said seriously and he tightened his grasp on her, "What does he have that I don't? Groupies?" He asked laughing at his own joke.

Greyson ignored his remark and rolled her eyes, "Go home."

"No. I love you and you should be with me." He slurred, his hair now falling in his face. It was the first time she had ever seen it out of place.

"Blaine! I'm with Josh! You need to move on!" She said getting annoyed now, "Now go before I call the police!"

He glared at her and shoved her against the door, "Look, why don't you stop disappointing your family so much and do the right thing for once?"

"Which is what?" She asked shoving him back. She knew he was clearly drunk if he was putting his hands on her.

"Marrying me! You're such a fuck up Greyson! Josh will realize it eventually! You aren't that girl from high school anymore! I accept you for what you are now!" He yelled and she winced at his tone.

"And Josh isn't going places! His little rockstar dream is a joke! Some kind of husband he'll be!"

She tried to move past him and he grabbed her shoving her back against the door. She now was a bit scared.

"The police are on there way, I suggest you leave!" They heard and Blaine turned to see Mrs. Franceschi standing with her arms crossed near the porch. She thanked god that the woman had decided to go see a late movie with a friend. Otherwise she was unsure what would have taken place.

Blaine glared at Greyson instantly, "This isn't over."

He dropped her arms roughly and headed to his car. Greyson locked eyes with Josh's mom who gave her a concerned look, "You need to get a restraining order Greyson. I mean it." She said seriously.

"Are you ok?" She added dropping her purse and examining the girl as if he hit her.

Greyson nodded and grabbed up the keys from the ground, "I um, I got to go pick up the guys."

"You sure? I can. Want me to?"

Greyson shook her head no and didn't give the woman a chance to speak as she shakily headed to the car. She had to calm herself before she got to the airport or Josh would just know by looking at her that things were not ok.

She breathed in deeply as she started the car and rolled the window down to take in the cool, night air. She had to relax. By the time she got to the airport she wasn't shaking anymore although she still felt nervous on the inside.

"Greyson!" She heard and looked over to see Max running at her in full speed. She couldn't help but smile as he grabbed her up causing a squeal to leave her lips.

"Fuck. I've missed you!" He said and she giggled as she hugged him tightly, "Back at ya."

The boy smiled as he placed her back on her feet.

"Get off my friend! I should get to hug her first!" Dan shouted as he dropped his bags to hug the girl only to be cut off my Chris. Greyson laughed hugging the boy back as Dan's mouth fell open.

"You suck." Matt said to the boy as he hugged Greyson with a grin. Dan pushed him off and grabbed up the small girl.

"This is fuckin' ridiculous. She's my bird. I should get to hug her first." Josh said walking up with his luggage and his voice alone made her heart pick up speed.

"Yeah? You get to shag her though so we deserve something." Max stated and Greyson started laughing as Dan let her go.

"I'll grab these. It'll be a minute." Dan said grabbing Josh's bags as Max grabbed the keys from the girl's hand and the four left laughing loudly.

"Hey you." Josh smiled and she threw herself into his arms.

"Fuck. This feels so good. I've missed you so bloody much." He mumbled into her hair as he held onto her tightly.

"Too long." She said into his shirt.

"I know. Never again."

She closed her eyes feeling the comfortable feeling she got with him wash over her and she instantly wasn't anxious or scared about Blaine anymore. Josh just made her feel safe and she loved it.

"How is my love?" He asked stroking her hair and the girl looked up at him. He leaned down kissing her instantly not worried about the unanswered question anymore. Luckily there were only a handle of people in the airport due to the time so he didn't mind continuing to kiss her in the middle of it all.

"I miss your kisses..." He whispered kissing her jaw as his arms held her to him.

"...and the way you smell." he added closing his eyes as his nose ran over her neck taking in the perfume he had begun to crave recently.

She couldn't help but grin simply because she was so happy he was home.

"Come on before the guys leave us."

He grabbed up her hand and they walked out into the dark to her car where they had to all squeeze in to fit, but she didn't mind because she had missed being around them. Josh offered to drive and Greyson sat beside Max who although tired, was still able to talk 90 to nothing. She smiled happy to have him back as the others groaned telling him to shut up. They dropped all the guys off and Greyson climbed in the passenger seat once they headed towards home.

"I'm exhausted and yet I'm home, I have you, my bed. I'm telling you, I'm gonna be one overly happy guy in a few minutes." He said causing her to laugh as he sleepily rubbed at his eye.

Once at home they crept inside and went straight to his room. She figured his mom was asleep already simply because she was out late.

"Oh man. I'm so happy right now." He said dropping his bags as he looked around. She laughed as she sat on his bed and he leaned down to kiss her, "I'm going to shower and then we are going to do some serious cuddling."

She grinned and he pecked her nose before grabbing some clothes and walking into the bathroom. She changed clothes while he showered and climbed into his bed. She herself was tired since it was almost one in the morning.

Josh finally came out in fresh clothes and damp hair. A grin hit his lips at the sight in front of him simply because he had missed it so much.

He turned out the light and crawled in beside her which caused her eyes to open. He wrapped his arm around her and she breathed in the smell of him.

"I love you." He whispered as their noses touched.

"I love you too." She responded, amazed that he still caused her heart to race.

He kissed her gently which ended up turning into much more than anticipated simply because they missed each other more then either imagined.

The next day Josh woke up before Greyson which he was fine with. Waking up with her was enough to make him happy. He kissed her forehead gently before sliding from the bed and going into the bathroom. Once ready for the day he headed downstairs where his mom was sitting with his sister of all people who he felt like he never saw anymore.

"Well, well, well...look who it is." Elissa said and he smiled as he embraced her in a hug.

"Been a long time sis, where have you been?"

"Not in the states."

He scoffed, "No shit."

He hugged his mom and took the seat beside her.

"So when is the cd going to be out?"

"Hopefully soon. It's brill. I won't lie. I'm proud of it. Grey has heard some of it. She loved it so hopefully everyone else will."

"So you and Grey, engaged huh? I haven't seen you since you proposed and there is only so much taunting I can do via text." Elise stated and Josh rolled his eyes, "Taunting about what?!"

"You always said you would never get married, yada, yada, now look at you!"

"It's Grey. Is it really that shocking?" He asked with a raised eyebrow and his mom chuckled, "He has a point."

"Yeah, I know. But still..." His sister responded with a grin.

"I'm surprised you haven't went after Blaine already this morning." His mom stated and he gave her a weird look, "Why would I?"

"Because of last night."

Josh looked at her completely confused and his mom returned the look to him, "Did she not tell you?"

"Tell me what?" He asked sharply and his mom sighed, "I need to just shut up."

"No. Tell me now." He said feeling his temperature rising already.

"He showed up when she was leaving to go get you and he clearly was drunk. Luckily I showed up because he was yelling and grabbing her."

Josh's jaw clinched down instantly and Elissa groaned, "Why do you tell him stuff?"

Josh ignored his sister and headed up the stairs angrily. He opened his bedroom door to see Greyson sitting up in his bed still in just his shirt.

"Why didn't you tell me about Blaine?" He asked bluntly and she looked over at him startled.

"He laid a hand on you. I can't..." He said pacing the floor as he tugged on his rather new short hair.

"I didn't want to ruin our night. We haven't seen each other in weeks. I was going to tell you today." She mumbled.

"I'm gonna kill him. No one touches you like that. No one!" He grumbled growing angrier by the minute simply from the thoughts he had in his head.

"Josh..."

"No! I'm so sick of this shit! He needs to stay away from you. I mean, who the fuck does that?"

She just sat there silently watching him mumble to himself and pace the floor some more.

"I can't believe you didn't fucking tell me. I am so furious right now I can't even bloody see straight." He said angrily and she didn't bother to speak. He slammed his hand against the wall on his way out the room and she took that time to text Dan so he could come control Josh before he did something stupid.

"Josh, settle down." His mother said as he snatched his shoes up from the floor.

"I will not settle down." He grumbled throwing himself on the couch to put his shoes on.

"He didn't hit her or anything."

"It doesn't matter! Who knows what he would have done if you wouldn't have shown up!" He said shaking his head of the thought, "I mean, who does he think he is?! No one touches her! I mean, she's..." He trailed off as he laced up his shoe, "No one touches her and gets away with it. She's my bird. It's my responsibility to protect her."

"You've always thought that. Settle down." Elissa stated and he rolled his eyes, "Stop telling me that! And yes, you're right. I've always felt like it was up to me to protect her but that's just because I love her. I always have and I'll be damned if someone hurts her." He said standing from the couch as Dan walked into the house unannounced with Matt in tow.

"What's going on mate?" Matt asked and Josh groaned knowing why they were here.

"Look, I'm not in the fucking mood for you to play peace keeper."

"What happened?" Dan asked looking at Elissa for answers.

"Blaine apparently came by last night and yelled at Greyson and was a bit rough with her."

Dan crossed his arms and a serious look crossed his face, "What?"

"Yeah and mum showed up thankfully! If not I'd be burying that kid right now!" Josh stated loudly.

"How dare him put his hands on her." Dan said seriously and Josh threw his hands up, "Thank you!"

"We should go over there." Matt offered and Elissa groaned, "Great."

"Come on Dan! Really?!" Greyson said now dressed and sprinting down the stairs.

"Are you ok little one?" Dan asked ignoring her as he scanned her face to make sure he didn't hit her.

"Do I look ok?"

"Yes."

"Then I am." She mumbled crossing her arms.

"Doesn't mean anything to me." Josh said grabbing up his keys and Greyson looked at Dan who shrugged, "I'm kind of with him on this one."

She sighed as Josh left the house with a slam of the door.

"We will go with him." Matt offered before grabbing Dan and quickly following after Josh.

Greyson sighed and looked over at his family.

"He's stubborn." Elissa offered and Greyson rolled her eyes as worry filled her stomach. She just wanted this to be over with.
