Glad You Came

That night after I went home, I was in shock.

I showered and changed into my pajamas. I lay in my bed and sat my phone next to me. It was a slim chance that he would text me or even call but a girl can dream.

It was well after midnight when my phone buzzed. I looked away from my book and down at my phone.

One New Text Message.

I picked my phone up and opened the message.

Hey this is Nathan :)

My heart started to beat faster. Is this really happening?

A minute later and my phone buzzed again

Sorry I'm texting so late but, it was kind of hectic earlier and I was just able to text you.

Because I never threw it out, its Cathrina.

Ha good one, I like that name. So um I don't have to do anything till later on tomorrow night, do you want to get lunch or something?

Sure, how about at the Cafe near the Owl bookstore at one?

I fell asleep that night with a smile on my face. I've never been so excited about lunch before.
