Life; It's Just Full of Secrets

Towel Boy

ONE MONTH LATER!

Zach's POV.

"Zach, Zach, Zach! Wake up!" A male voice says in a way too cherry sing song voice.

"What?" I mutter.

"Time to get up!"

"I don't want to. I'm lazy." I groan. I shove my head under the pillow and throw the blanket over me.

I feel the blanket fly off of me.

"Wake up or I'll...hmm...I'll rape you."

I fly out of bed. "I'm up!! I'm up!!" I shove the male aside and run into the bathroom.

After I shower and everything I walk out.

"Michael! Why would you say that?!" I exclaim when I see Michael sitting on my bed.

He shrugs. "Well I had to wake you."

"But why?!" I whine.

"'Cause it's 3:00 in the afternoon, lazy."

"But you know I'm NOT a lazy person."

"It's not morning! It's 3 in the afternoon!"

"Fine. You know I'm NOT a getting up type of person."

"Your so lazy." He rolls his eyes.

"Yup. So how's Cam today?"

He sighs. "The same."

I sigh as Skyler walks in.

"Oh. Nice. The lazy one has risen. What's you secret, Allen?"

"Don't call me that. And I'm not telling you." Mikey says.

"Please?"

"Nope."

"No fair."

"Too bad darlin'." He smirks.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

They start making out.

"EWW!! Okay, I'mma go and lock the door behind me. Yeah." I turn and run out, locking the door behind me.
**********
"So how are you today Cam?" I ask as I walk into his hospital room.

He pulls his head back then raises his eyebrows. "Umm."

"What?"

"Uhh, umm. Did you...forget...something...today?"

"Uhh, no."

"Are you..sure?"

"Yes."

"Positive?"

"Yes."

His eyebrows go higher. "Think harder,...Ocean Eyes."

"Honestly, I don't know what your talking about."

"Think."

"Just tell me!"

"How many...werid..looks.. have you...been getting?"

"Uhh, a ton. Why??"

"Wowzers." He shakes his head.

"Can you tell me already?"

"Nah. It's too funny." He shakes his head, his eyebrows still high.

"Hey, your talking a bit better." I smile.

He shrugs and looks down at his lap.

"You are!"

He shrugs again and looks up to watch me as I sit down.

I notice a grin spreading across his pale face.

"What?!"

He suddenly bursts into laughter.

I'm worried that he's going to fall off his bed.

"What?!" I exclaim.

He tries to hold something back but the word "towel" escapes his lips through all his laughter.

"What about a towel?!" I exclaim.

He points at my waist with a shaking finger.

I look down and almost pass out from embarrassment. I forgot that I'm still wearing a towel!! Oh my God!! That's soo embarrassing!!

I slap my head. "Oh my God!! That's soo embarrassing!!"

"Yes. Very." He says through all his laughter.

If vampires could blush I would be so red right now!

Cameron starts to calm down but then he looks at me and starts laughing his head off again.

It sounds funny when someone is laughing there heads off but they're voices are very quite 'cause they can only whisper.

"Hey, in my defense I was in a room with people almost going all the way! I had to leave!"

"Sure, cuckoo."

Cam's doctor walks in. "Ms. Quiseng, it's time for you to try and walk again." He says as he tries to avoid staring at me.

I want to faint! I'm so embarrassed!!

"I don't want to!" Cam crosses his arms.

"Come on. Just try!"

"No!"
****
Cameron and the doctor spend the next ten minutes auguring over if Cam was gonna try to walk or not. I just sat there and watched.

Finally Cam gives in. "Fine." He grumbles.

The doctor grins, obviously very pleased with himself. "That's the spirit I like to see in my patients!"

"Your pushing it."

"My, my. So grumpy." The doctor mutters. "Uhh, would you like to help...towel boy?" He looks at me.

"Uhh, sure."

"Okay. Maybe you should change though. We can't have your towel fall down."

Cameron starts laughing again but he looks a but uncomfortable with that image in his head.

"So what do I wear?"

"Hmm." He looks over at Cam which gives him an idea. "Hold on one second."

He leaves the room but comes back soon. "Here!" He holds up a hospital gown.

"Okay.." I take it and walk out and use the washroom in the waiting room to change.
****
"Move your left leg." We command Cam 10 minutes later.

After two minutes nothing happens.

"Move your right leg." We command.

Nothing.

I'm holding Cam's left side up and the doctor is holding up his right side. What we have to do is tell him to move a leg and wait to see if his brain can tell his leg to do that. We wait two minutes, but nothing has happened so far, so we go to the next leg. Same result: nothing.

After a total of 20 minutes Cam just gives up and breaks down crying.

This chapter was originally called "Forgetful Vampire" but I decided I liked "Towel Boy" better.
