Never Gonna Let You Go

JACKS POV

When the ambulance came Nicole was slightly conscious, only being able to move her head a bit. To be honest, I was scared shitless when she fell.

They checked on Nicole, and the doctor finally came over to us.

“Are any of you Nicole’s family?”

“None of them by blood, but their close enough to be” I said pointing to Alex, Rian, Cass and Zack. “But I’m her boyfriend”

“Alright well Nicole is fine” he said and a big rush of relief came through me. “But she did suffer from a concussion. She had a bump on her forehead that shows how she got it in the first place, and the fall while she was drunk completely made her black out”

Fucking Alex. He was the one who threw the football at her head, so this was his partly his fault. I’m going to kill him when the doctor leaves.

“Alright, well is there anything I need to do or watch out for?” I asked.

“Just make sure she gets a lot of rest, and to make sure she doesn’t drink a lot in the next couple of months” he said and walked back to the ambulance.

I carried Nicole on to the bus and made sure she was comfortable. I hated seeing her like this. She was passed out cold for the next 12 hours. I know the doctor said this would be normal but it scared me.

Right at I was thinking that, she woke up.

“What the hell?” she said groggy, rubbing her forehead.

“Ha, well good morning sleepy head” I said kissing her.

“What happened?” she asked.

“Long story short? You got shit faced, fell, were unconscious and now you’re awake”

“Ugh fuck. Im sorry. And um im sorry about the whole sex thing” I said looking down, too embarrassed to look at him.

“Don’t be sorry. I understand where you’re coming from. And it’s not that I don’t want to have sex with you. Holy hell, I do. You know how hard it is to keep it in my pants? I don’t want to treat you like some slut like the rest of the girls I have had sex with previously. You’re everything to me, and I just don’t want to fuck anything up and believe me sex sometimes screws things up. Just know that you are the most beautiful girl and you really are everything to me. I just want it to be the perfect moment. I want if to be perfect for you.” I said as I looked in her eyes.

“Wow. That was like the nicest thing anybody has ever said to me. Thank you, Jack. And I agree, I want it to be perfect too” she said and gave me a kiss. “I’m so glad you’re my boyfriend. You really are the best, I have no idea what I would do without you” she said as she nudged her head under my arm. After a couple minutes of laying together I remembered what the doctor said.

“Oh yeah, the doctor said NO drinking for the next month or so”

“are you serious” she said frowning. “Haha, yeah” I said kissing her forehead.

“Ahh, you’re awake! Thank god! I thought you were dead and I thought I was gonna have to save you or some shit.” Alex said as he made his way in to the bunk that was already occupied with Nicole and me.

“Haha I’m fine. But I cant drink for like ever” Nicole said whining.

“Well maybe it’s for the best kiddo” Alex said and got up to leave. Nicole just shrugged and got up to make coffee.
