The Future is Now

Alexs POV:
The next day i got up before everyone else and showered. I texted Zack since he was up early everyday. He told me he was going for a run, he asked me to joing and i accepted the offer. I left a note and went to Zacks house, we took a really long run and then headed back. When i got home i took a shower again to clean off the sweat and when i got out there was a gray kitten on the counter.

"Sophie, what the hell is this?" i said walking into the living room with just a towel on and i had the cat in my hand. Jack was over now

"A cat" she said

"Why is it here?" i asked

"Jack bought the kids a kitty!" she said excited

"Seriously dude?" i said im allergic to cats, i mean a doctor has never told me i am but im convinced

"Yes. I thought they deserved a pet" he said

"Okay that doesnt explain why it was in the bathroom" i said

"I put it in there" he said

"I see. And you didnt feel like you needed to consult us?" i asked

"Nope!" he said

"Dude" i whinned

"Look its got all its shots and what not, its disease free. Just enjoy the free cat you ungreatful dick" he said and i flipped him off

"Im allergic" i said

"Yeah i believe that" he said sarcastic

"Pretty sure i am" i said

"Nope" he said

"Mhmm" i said and the cat climb onto my shoulder

"Awww Alex she like you!" Sophie said, the cat was pretty damn adorable i have to admit that

"Yeah. Whats her name?" i asked

"The kids named her cloud" she said

"Cute" i said and sneezed and the kitten jumped off me and onto the couch

"You scared her daddy!" Casey said petting cloud

"Yeah daddy" Jack said teasing me

"Well whatever im still allergic see!, theres a red rash on my chest!" i said

"Dont be so dramatic, thats from the hot water. Calm down" Sophie said

We spent all day inside playing with the cat, there was a huge thunderstorm outside so we didnt wanna leave. The twins seemed to be enjoying the kitten Jack brought over which made me happy. Later while i was sitting on the couch eating cereal the cat jumped on my shoulder again.

"No kitty not for you" i said and she meowed and reached for the bowl

"Aww" Jack laughed

"No cloud stop, this is mine" i said and the door opened and Avery and Rian walked in

"Awww a kitty!!!" Avery said

"Yeah shes so cute, Jack brought her for the kids" Sophie said

"Yeah shes cute. Someone get her shes like stabbing my shoulder with her claws" i said as Cloud dug her claws into me

"I'll take her" Avery said ripping cloud off me

"Oww" i said

"Whats her name?" Rian asked petting cloud

"Cloud" i said

"Adorable!" Avery said

"Daddy doesnt like her" Micah said

"Alex!, why are you such a kitty hater!" Rian said

"I dont hate her. Im just not used to having a cat, i never grew up with one. You know that dude" i said

"True" he said

"Well i think shes the most adorable thing to ever walk this planet!" Avery said petting cloud

"Thanks dude, now shes gonna want a cat" Rian said

"Of course, happy to help!" Jack said

"Well im allergic, so this is gonna take some getting used to" i said, i now can definitely say without a doubt im allergic. Ive sneezed like ten times and now i have a stuffy nose

"Sucks balls since shes so cute, maybe you can get somthing for that" Rian said

"I probably can, babe your a doctor right?. You can prescribe somthing for me" i said

"Hell no!. Alex im not a doctor first of all so i cant legaly do that. Second of all im not your doctor i dont no if you have medication allergys and i dont know your medical history. Sorry Alex" Sophie said

"I'll tell you one thing dude. Antihistamines. They work like magic" Rian said

"I hate getting sleepy from medicine" i said

"Well its that or suffer from constant cold like symptoms" Rian said and i sighed, hes right. Hes always right

"Until you see the doctor we have some benadryl" Sophie said

"Ehh i'll tough it out for a bit" i said

"How about a nice shot of hot sauce" Jack said and everyone looked at him like he was nuts

"Thats weird...but i'll try it" i said and then everyone looked at me like i was crazy and me and Jack left the room

We went into the kitchen and Jack grabbed a plastic cup and put tons of hot sauce in it. I instantly regretted this, Jacks gonna kill me!. He passed me the cup and gave me a bottle of water. I drank the whole cup, it burned so bad. I dropped the cup and kneed him in the balls.

"Oww! Alex what the hell was that for?!" he said

"Ahhh!. I dont know!, it was to hot!" i said drinking the water and coughing

"What the hell are you guys doing in here" Sophie asked walking in with Rian and Avery

"He kicked me in the balls!" Jack said

"Sorry" i said

"You two are ridiculous" she said

"No were not" i said

"Did it help?" she asked

"Yes" i said and my nose started running

"Oh sick!" Rian said grossed out and i grabbed a napkin

"Ewww. This sucks, it helped my nose but i still have sinus pressure!" i said

"Well...sucks for you" Sophie said and left the room
