The Future is Now

The next day i took the twins to school and then spent my day doing random chores. After i finished all the stuff i had to do i went home and Jack came over. We went in the backyard and laid on the grass since it was nice out, while i was staring at a tree i heard the house phone ring and i went inside to answer it.

"Hello?" i answered

"Hey Alex its Elle" she said

"Oh hi, whats up?" i asked

"Nothing. Listen, i have a favor to ask of you and its okay if you cant do it" she said

"What do you need?" i asked

"Well i have to do a interview for one of my classes. And i have to interview someone who has a intersting job. I was thinking i could interview you and the rest of your band" she said, she goes to the same college Leah did, she goes for journalism. It was the only school she could find that had what she wanted to do that was on the east coast

"Oh. Dont you have to interview one person?" i asked

"Well i had to tell my teacher who i was doing and i said i was considering you since your in a band and she said i'd have to interview all of you guys" she said

"I see, when do you need us?" i asked

"You'll do it!?" she asked

"Well i'll totally do it. Im sure the other guys will to" i said

"Awesome!, well i need if before the project is due in two weeks. So anytime you guys are all free before then" she said

"Hmm...will today do. Is your schedule hectic today?" i asked

"Not at all. I can totally do today" she said

"Cool what time will work for you?" i asked

"Uhmm, well i have a lecture at 6 so anytime before then" she said

"This is working out freakishly well" i laughed

"Yep. So can you all do 2?" she asked

"Totally. I'll call Rian and Zack since Jacks already here and then i'll call you back" i said

"Sounds good. Thanks so much Alex, your really helping me out" she said

"Of course i'll call you soon" i said

"Okay bye" she said and i hung up

I talked to Jack and he said he'd do it, Rian and Zack said they'd do it as well when i called them. I called Elle back and we agreed we'd meet her at her dorm at 2. I called my mom and asked her to pick up the kids and Charlotte so we could do this, of course she agreed. We picked up Rian and Zack a little past 1 and drove to the college. When we pulled up Elle was sitting on a table.

"Elle!" i said

"Hey!, im so glad you guys came!" she said coming over to hug me

"Of course we did!, this is gonna be super fun" i said

"Yep, we'll have to walk a pretty good distance since i have to do this in the library and its on the other side of campus" she said

"Thats fine. But we could drive" i said

"No walking is easier, trust me" she said

"Alright lead the way" i said and he picked up her bag and notebook and we walked

It wasnt a far walk but it was kinda tiring, probably because im out of shape. When we walked into the library we all got tons of looks, then again we were at a school where people probably knew who we were. We all walked to a table in the back and someone was sitting at it.

"Guys this is my best friend Lindsey shes gonna help out by taking pictures. Lindsey this is my cousins husband Alex and my other cousins husband Jack and their band mates Zack and Rian. Lindseys here because we need proof that this was done and not faked, you know?" she said introducing us to each other

"I got it, hey" i said and everyone else said hi

"Hey" Lindsey said

"Okat shall we start?" Elle asked me

"Sure" i said

"Okay so how long have you guys been a band?" she asked

"Oh geez, a long time. since 2007" i said

"Alright, and did you know eachother for a while before you started the band?" she asked

"Yep" Jack said

"Whose idea was it to start?" she asked

"Im pretty sure it was Rians" i said

"Was it?" Rian said

"I cant remember. But i think so" i laughed

We continued doing the interview for a while, it was really fun. After we left we all went back to my house. My mom was home and babysitting, the twins got so excited once they saw me walk through the door.

"Daddy!" Casey said

"Hey how was school?" i asked picking her up

"Boring" she said

"I bet. Have you been good for grandma?" i asked

"Yes" she said

"Good girl" i said

"I was good to" Micah said

"Good!" i said

"Yeah everything was fine. Did you guys have fun?" my mom said

"Yep, it was interesting" i said

"Nice. Anyways i gotta go, love you" she said

"Bye. I love you" i said and she left

"Aww mamas boy" Jack said

"Hell yeah. Did you guys do your homework?" i said and asked the three kids

"Nope" Casey said

"Go do it" i said and she whinned and i put her down and her, Micah and Charlotte ran off
