She Killed My Brain

I opened my eyes to see the sun shining right into them.
“Fuck.” What a great morning already, I haven’t heard my mother all day I thought she would’ve came in to wake me up and tell me it was almost noon. I rolled over and propped myself up on the bed, I rubbed my eyes and scratched my head I still felt sleepy but I can’t fall back asleep I’ll never wake up. I finally put my legs on the ground and was ready to start my day. I went and took a shower and shaved my legs and everything because I plan to see my boyfriend today Danni, he was really cute and sweet — I enjoy him a lot, a lot — we always see each other on Fridays, he comes over to see me and we usually go and do something. I got dressed and went to the kitchen to go get some eggs because ya know there good for you, protein and all. I cooked some up and ate them and had a glass of water with them, yummy, I fluffed up my hair with my hands a little bit and made it not look so flat and terrible. I wonder what we’re going to go do, swimming, fishing, walking or just sit around and talk. I sat on the couch watching the TV waiting for Danni, ‘What’s taking him so long?’ he’s usually never late, I’m probably just worrying for no reason. I usually don’t worry though so I don’t know about this. I finally heard a knock on the door, I jumped up to go answer it, it was Danni. I had a big smile and my face and he held his arms out to give me a big hug and a kiss on the check.

“I was getting worried about you,” I told him. He smiled and shook his head.

“I got up a little late and then I was like ‘Oh shit I’m late to see my girl!’” he said with an
amusing face. This is what makes me care about him so much, he just cares about me and never lies. It just means so much; it’s hard to explain I guess. “What do you want to do today?” he asked.

“I have no idea, we could go swimming or go fishing, what do you want to do?” he smudged his face up in though.

“I don’t either, we could go swimming and I could stop by and get Malone so she can join us!” Malone was his dog, she was so pretty! She was a big Golden Retriever, so gorgeous I love her.

“We can defiantly go do that, I haven’t seen her in a long time so it would be exciting for both of us.” I smiled; he hugged me tighter and started caressing my hair. It felt so nice; I could just lie here all day and let him do this. “You’re gonna make me go to sleep if you keep doing that Danni.”

“It’ll be okay if you do.” He smiled even more, I love my Danni. Though I’m not exactly sure which way I love him, do I love him as his person and love him or am I in love with him? it’s so hard for my emotions to understand thing like this I guess. We went to go get Malone so she could go with us, we’ll just go to the lake and have a fun time and Malone can play in the water with us. She loved to play in the water. We were at the entrance of the lake, Danni got out and got the small cooler and towels, I got out and let Malone out of the back seat. She jumped out and wagged her tail and started jumping, she was so excited.

“She loves the water,” Danni said, I just smiled as Malone started running towards the lake.

“There she goes!” I yelled.

“Catch me some Fish Malone!” He screamed out. We made our way down the path and got the spot I was at yesterday, I laid out my towel to lay on it. Put a little sun screen on because the sun was beaming down today it wasn’t like last time when I was here, I didn’t really need any then. Danni automatically followed Malone into the water, she did love the water. I sat down on my towel and just watched them play, he found a stick and they started playing tug-of-war with it, she was almost slinging him around. I smiled at them as they played.

“Oh hey girl,” I looked behind me to see none other than that guy that was here the other day. “didn’t know you would be back so soon.”

“Hey, yeah, just came to hang out and lay in the sun again today.” I told him.

“Same, though I’ll probably fall asleep again like last time,” we both chuckled.

“You don’t need to fall asleep like that then.” He laughed.

“I party too much to be able to sleep you know,”

“Well no, I didn’t know that. I don’t ever party, I just walk around or hang at my house with Danni and Malone.”

“Danni and Malone?” he asked.

“Yeah,” I pointed to Danni and the doggie “That person and animal over there.”
“Oh,” was all he said.

“Malone’s very sweet though, if you didn’t like animals you would end up loving her.” He smiled a little bit.

“I don’t know your name.” he said to me “I never even though about asking.”

“That’s okay, I forgot as well now that you mention it, I’m Nattie.”

“I’m Jimmy.” We both had some type of smile on our face.

“Nice to meet you” We both said in union. I felt like blushing for some reason, it felt very strange. I don’t even know Jimmy but he somehow made me blush, he isn’t flirty he’s just, I don’t know he has that feel to him I guess.
“Well I guess I should get going so you two can spend some time together,” he had this strange look on his face.

“Okay Jimmy, I’ll see you.” He just got up and left. Danni and Malone came walking out of the water, they were both soaked and Malone came right over by me and shook the water off of her. It was so cold and I screamed “MALONE!” Danni laughed.

“Who was that guy?” he said eyed the little of Jimmy he could see.

“That was Jimmy; I met him last time I was here.” He just eyed me suspiciously
“Seems strange…”

“Oh god, shut up Danni and don’t judge people.” I said a little pissed off at him.

“I’m not! It’s just I get that feeling with some people when I see them.”

“Whatever…” I rolled my eyes.
