Crazy Little Thing Called Love..

Nick's POV

Three weeks seemed to fly by. With each day of practice we started sounding like a real band. A band that's serious about what it's doing. I hope it shows on the record.

Yesterday was our first day in the studio, we got half of one song done.

"I'm starting to really think this is going to happen." I said to Steve, he looked at me in disbelief, and I could tell he was shocked I didn't believe in us from the start.

"Yeah, I've felt that way ever since our first gig at that open mic a year ago," he countered. I smiled at him and walked over to my guitar.

I picked it up and said to my band mates, "Let's record this bitch." and we headed into the studio.

-6 months later-

We sold enough records to go on a small tour. Or it will start off as a small tour anyway.

"Do you think that if we sell a bunch of our CDs at our gigs we'll get to add on to our tour?" I asked Steve as we were packing up our stuff for the road.

"That sure would be something. I hope we get to play in New York."

"So do I man. So do I."

Then it seemed almost instantly we were driving for Georgia, where our first gig awaits. I was right about the sell-CDs-get-more-tour-time thought though.

As we performed in small venues all over, we sold about 50 copies every show. Which would get us one more gig or whatever.

There was nothing really special about the first 20 shows or so. It wasn't until we performed in a small bar in New York that things started getting crazy, in more ways than one.
