Dark Dreams

I pulled on Leroy’s pants. Then his shoes. I cant get over the fact of how cute his feet are! it’s a risk taking him outside but he was begging to go shopping with me. It was early in the morning as we left.
“I have a surprise for you”
I hand Leroy a box. In about ten seconds the box is torn to shreds. Leroy hugs the newly reconstructed feather tightly
“Wow!!! Thank you so much mommy!!!”
“Your welcome sweetie.”
We walk into the store, I set Leroy in the cart. As we are shopping, Leroy asking to buy everything like little kids do, a pair of arms wrap around me.
“Whoa!”
I push him off. Seeing Alex laughing on the floor.
“What the fuck!!”
“Hahaha!! Got you huh?”
Leroy looks over the cart. Alex stands up. I’m glad I’ve taught Leroy what to do in a situation like this.
“Hey! Whose this little guy?”
Alex smiles at Leroy, Leroy sits in the cart crossed armed
“That’s my cousin”
“What’s his name?”
“Joey”
Leroy smiles at him. As long as Alex doesn’t touch his head we are fine

“Thanks Ill tell my aunt that when she picks him up”
“Haha! Hey are you gonna be at school today?”
“Maybe, I might come by later for a hour or so. Why are you here?”
“Oh we just stopped in for something to eat, you?”
“Shopping, parents left again. “

A few of Alex’s friends run by and pull him with them. He pulls them back and they tell him to hurry
“Ok Ok im coming, I hope we see you today Lexi”
“Yea me to.”
He runs his hands over Leroy’s head.
“Bye little guy”
He pulls his hands back and sucks on his bleeding thumb
“Oww!!”
“Ops Sorry Alex!! He was outside this morning, there’s a thorn in his hair probably.”
“Its ok, oww that was sharp. Ill talk to you later Lexi”
He walks away. That was a close one.
“Mommy that scared me…”
I fix Leroy’s hair and kiss him, we watch as Alex gets in his car and they all drive away
“I know Leroy, you did good tho”
“Yea!! Oh can we get that!”
“Fine hahahaha!!”
We continue shopping, as I’m picking up apples I turn and drop them on the ground
“Leroy???”
Leroy’s not in the cart. I panic. it’s a fear of mines to lose my baby. He was here just a second ago!! I run around the store looking for Leroy.
“Hey Leroy, miss me?”
“Feather!!!”
I run down the candy isle and find Leroy. A man in a white shirt and white cut off pants is squatting next to him talking. The man looks up at me and smiles. I run and pick Leroy up in my arms hugging him tightly
“Oh my god I thought I lost you!!! Don’t you ever ever ever leave my side without telling me where your going!!! Jesus Christ…”
The man laughs a little, he has light blue eyes, he had black hair with rainbow streaks all over it. Big lips and arms. His smile was cute and he looked like someone I met before. He covers his mouth with his hands
“Oh my god, thank you so much for finding him!!”
“Its my pleasure I promise you! He ran right into me….wow….”
He looks me in the eyes
“What’s wrong?”
“Your so beautiful…haha…Sorry I just….”
He blushes bright red. I do the same a little in surprise.
“Well…thank you so much, I haven’t been called that in a long time”
“What?!? You have got to be kidding me! You should be called beautiful everyday!!”
I blush harder. He’s so nice and kind. And really handsome…

Leroy’s smiling really big, He must be happy to see me smiling as well, seeing I haven’t in forever
“Leroy’s pretty cute to! Then again I should have guessed that with a mother like you he would get all the good looks!!”
“He got his father…everything haha!! I don’t see me in him at all-wait did you say Leroy?”
“Yea, that’s his name”
“How do you know that??”

“He told me. Haha! We were gonna go look for you but you came to us”
My worries go away.
“Thank you so much…haha….”
“Single mother?”
“Yea, do I look like it?”
“Naww just guessing, that’s sad, did the father leave?”
“Not really, its hard to explain…but…uhh…would you mind not telling anyone I’m a mother?”
“Sure, may I ask why?”
“Well…I don’t want people knowing I have a son, not yet, not until I move out of this town.”
“Count on me, my lips are sealed! I’m Ash by the way”
I shake his hand and Leroy hugs his leg
“Lexi, wow Leroy you like him a lot huh?”
“Yes!!! He showed me a trick, do it for my mommy!!!”

“Oh yea, sorry, please show my mommy?”
“Sure! Anything for such a…“
A white rose, without a single imperfection appears in front of my face

He smiles, bowing and smiling, I take it and smell it, beautiful

He smiles and Leroy jumps on him, he swings him around and Leroy laughs.
“Mommy!! Hahaha!!”
Ash puts him down.
“I wanna go again!! Please mommy??”
“Leroy don’t wear him out!! I’m sorry Riley he’s so hyper”
“Its perfectly fine! I love kids, always wanted one…”
He looks a bit sad and kicks the floor.
“Mommy can he come play with me at our house?”
“Leroy…I’m sure he’s busy anyways, maybe we could see if daddy may want to come over and play with you?”
“You know he wont…he likes Niki more then me…”
Ash pulls Leroy into a hug and smiles
“C’mon, He loves you way more then Niki, deep inside his heart he does I promise you!!”
Leroy hugs him back and hangs on him, Ash is so nice…so very sweet and loving…just like a angel. I tell Leroy to say goodbye and we finish shopping, as we walk out the door I trip and head straight for the ground, my arms full of food.
*Catch*
Holding me in his arm, his face pressed up to mines and his lips touching mines slightly. There warm, soft, and smell amazing, cherry’s.
“Got yea…”
I stare into his eyes, the light blue…his warm lips…He presses his lips on mines, a long kiss intakes. He finally pulls away, leaving me wanting more. He sits me upright and I see Leroy’s smiling face. He claps at us and giggles. Ash looks grabs the bags I dropped and carries them to my car. Leroy jumps in his car seat and buckles in. Ash pulls me close to him, resting his arms on my waist. I place my hands on his shoulders. He pulls out a bouquet of flowers, white roses and white lily’s. He hands them to me.

“Don’t thank me, thank yourself for being so beautiful”
He kisses me again, When he pulls away I smile
“…Would you like to come over?”
Leroy places his hands on the window and smiles, nodding his head
“Would that be ok?”
“Its perfectly fine with me…and Leroy really want you over…”
“I guess if you both want me to I have to huh? Good cause I want to”
He gets in my car, I trust him, my heart beats harder and faster. He leans over while I’m driving and kisses my cheek, he whisper in my ear
“Your so pretty…your so perfect….”
I blush as we pull in. He looks up at our house.
“Wow…its bigger then I thought…”
“Yea well…its pretty old”
He and Leroy carry the stuff in. For a while he plays with Leroy, they use his fire truck, his train, he even shows him the pictures of his imaginary friend. In the dark house Ash shines bright. I run up to my room and lay on the bed, my heart begs for more. Why do I feel so close to Ash? I almost wanna say I love him…its crazy but its like he’s making me set aside everything and just letting me fall for him. Hes handsome, nice, loving, caring, and hes great with kids! Leroy almost like him more then Loki.
“Lexi can I come in?”
“Sure”
Ash walks in.
“Where’s Leroy?”
“He feel asleep haha he’s a cutie”
“Yea I’m lucky to have him…hes all I got now”
Ash sits on the bed and rubs my back. I moan slightly, I hear him laugh
