Another Human Resistance

After going on a raid, he was captured and taken from everything he loves only to have a soul inserted into his body. Much like his mother, Melanie, he is resistant to the new soul and refuses to leave his body behind. The soul has been blind before, but in a world where sight is a normal sense, blindness is unusual to him. Can he work through the struggles by himself?
