Jimmy Sullivan Is Getting Married

Chapter Twelve

“I am so sorry, Jimmy,” Jane apologised.

I smiled at her, “It’s okay.”

“It’s okay if you don’t want to ever come to my shop again, I’ll give you a full refund and you can hate me for the rest of your life. God, I am so unprofessional!” She cried, holding her head in her hands.

“It’s okay, Jane.”

“But then I shouldn’t have just introduce you to someone whom I haven’t done research on. Oh god, what a big mistake it was to rely on their particulars. I screwed up so bad, I’m sorry Jimmy. Really am. I should’ve known better, I should’ve-“ breaths for air, “researched on her before I did anything. Especially since I got her on with you, you’re a major rockstar and you really don’t deserve the humilliation. Jimmy, my sincere apologies goes to you. I promise-“

“Jane,” I interupted.

“to do more then just find someone who has the same interest as you, I’ll work harder and I’ll not repeat-“

“Jane,” Once again, I tried to interverne the conversation she’s having between she and herself.

“any of this, this fucking bullshit. No wonder my business fails, I’m so fucking unproffesinal that everything screws-“

Once again I tried getting her attention.

“-up. Seriously Jimmy, give me one more chance and I’ll try my best and this time I’m not gonna fail you.”

Silence.

I looked at her, drumming my fingers on the table patiently.

“Done?” I asked.

She nodded eagerly.

“Good. Because, babe, you talk like a train-wreck.”

She gave me a glare.

I chuckeled, “Listen, you don’t need to give me a refund or anything. I’m just going off your company for now. I think I’ve had enough of woman.”

“Oh, thank you, Jimmy Sullivan!”

At this, she jumped up and gave me a bone crushing hug.

“People are watching, Jane…” I muttered in her ear.

She let go of me, looking around and noticing that heads had turned.

“Sorry,” She mouthed.

“Oh, and I heard that you had a birthday party a few days ago, so I got you something,” She said.

Reaching into her bag, she took out of what looks like a white envelope.

“Here,” She said, handing me the card.

I read the slip of paper, letting know of the reunion that was taking place in two weeks time.

“And this is my birthday present, why?” I asked.

She smirked, “I guess it would be pay back time for you. You weren’t exactly the coolest guy in school Jimmy. And I need to live up my reputation as Class President, live with me here, man. We’ll both benefit.”

“And who ever said I’d go?” I asked, brows raised.

“I did.”

Proven, what Jane says, goes.
