Chris POV

“Don’t give me that look” Taylor said taking a seat on the couch

“What look?” I questioned

“Those puppy dog eyes. They’re not going to work this time Christopher” she started “You really upset and hurt me last night. The puppy dog eyes are not going to work this time Chris” she finished.

I got up and went and set next to her, my heart was beating so fast I swear I could actually hear it. I rubbed my hands down my jeans as though I was straightening them out, but I was actually wiping my hands, because at that moment my palms got all sweaty. I sat there beside her for a minute getting my thoughts together. I turned to face her.

“Taylor, I’m sorry about last night” I started. “I didn’t bring Kae with me, she came on her own. I haven’t been with her for about 2 weeks now, and I don’t mean sexually. I found out that she was trying to get with Mijo on the sly about 3 weeks ago and I ended it. Last night I let her know for the last time that it’s over between me and her and that it was time for her to us to move on and for her to move around. Plus it wasn’t fair to her to be with her and I’ve been feeling you for the past month. You’re the 1st thing on my mind when I wake up in the morning, and the last thing when I go to sleep. I think about you constantly. I want to be with you and only you. I haven’t said anything before now because I was respecting J, being that he is one of my closes friends, I didn’t want to over step those boundaries. Last night, J told me that he knew how I felt about you and that he was cool with me wanting to be with you and that I should go for it”

Taylor was quiet for a few minutes, and she just looked down at her nails.

“Tay, please say something” I pleaded trying to look her in her eyes.

She looked up at me, her eyes all glossy, full of tears, and said” What does J have to do with
any of this. I’m a grown woman, hell I’m older than him!” she laughed wiping her eyes before
the tears could fall. “Chris, I knew about Kae, Ty told me last night, and I just needed to hear it from you, to know that you were actually done with her. When you hesitated to answer me, I figured that you were still with her and were trying to have me on the side. I like you a lot Chris, but I can’t be made a fool of, and that’s how I was feeling last night. I wanna be with you, I think about you all the time too, I smile every time I see that I have a new text from you” she said.

“Aww baby, I didn’t mean to make you feel that way, I just had to make sure Kae knew her
place before I came to you” I started grabbing her hand. “I didn’t want her trying to come
all up in your face with her bullshit and upsetting my Tay” I smiled causing her to giggle

“Yeah, because you know I don’t like that girl, and I will whip her ass if she tried to jump stupid with
me” she laughed. “So, we cool now?” she smiled

“Not yet, but we will be soon” I joked

“Oh, so it’s like that, huh Christopher?” she blushed

“For now it is, but I want you to listen to this song I finished today. I want to know what you
think about it” I said getting up and going over to the control panel and hitting the playback

Taylor bobbed her head and bounced her foot to the beat. I could tell that she was feeling the song.

“Wow Chris, that’s a really pretty song. I think you might have a hit on your hands” she smiled.

“I’m glad you like it, I wrote it for you” I smiled

“You wrote that for me?” she said her eyes full of tears.

“Yeah, about a week ago, after I took you home from the gym. I couldn’t stop thinking about you”

“Wow, I don’t know what to say, nobody has ever written a song for me” she said, a tear
escaping her eye.

“Well, you’re worth it. You are such an amazing person and mom” I said gently wiping the tear from her eye with my thumb.

“Thanks” she said. “So, is that how you were feeling when you left my house, like you should
have kissed me?” she blushed

“Yeah, that’s how I was feeling” I said trying not to blush

“Well how do you feel now?”

“Like I should kiss you” I said leaning closer to her, and gently cupping her face with my
hand then kissing her soft sweet lips. She leaned closer, deepening our kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck. I slowly moved my hand down from her face to her waist and pulled her closer. We were so close, she was almost in my lap. We shared a long passionate kiss before pulling out of it and just hugging each other for another few more minutes.

“What now?” she smiled into my skin

“I don’t know, we could make out a little more, I liked that” I laughed

“No silly, that would be nice, but where do we go from her. I mean a lot just went down in here Chris” she said playfully hitting me. “But the making out was nice” she smiled giving me a quick peck on the lips.

“I know what you meant baby. I guess we could go out on a few dates, or you could just be
my girl, or we could go out and you be my girl, I’m leaving it up to you ma” I smiled kissing her lips.

“Aww, you called me baby” she laughed, unwrapping her arms around my neck and laying on my chest

“Well, I told you that I want to be with you, and that I’m feeling you, I want you to be my baby, but only if that’s what you want” I told her.

“I know that’s what you told me baby, and that’s the same way I feel about you. I want the
same thing that you do”

“So, what does that mean then Tay?” I said kissing her hair and softly rubbing my hand up and down her arm.

“I don’t know Chris, I guess I’m saying that maybe we should give this thing a try”

“You GUESS?” I teased tickling her side

“Stop it Chris!” she laughed “Ok ok, I'm telling you that I WANT to give us a try”

“I do too Tay, so let’s give this thing a try, we’ll never know what could have been until we try.” I replied

“I know baby, so that’s what we’re going to do then? Give it a try?”

“Yes, we’re now an Official couple” I smiled wrapping my arms around her and squeezing her tightly

“Cool, that’s what’s up then. Can you play the song again for me” she blushed looking up at me!

“Anything for my girl” I said kissing her before going to push the playback button again.

My girl, I smiled at that just the thought of that. Taylor Martin is now MY girl, my girlfriend!
And I couldn’t be more happier about it. She is not only my girlfriend, she’s my friend, I can talk to her about anything, and we do all kinds of things together. Just sitting there listening to the words of the song, made me happy that I did kiss her. As she laid there with her head resting on my chest and holding my hand, I realized right then and there that I had made the right choice and was glad that things were good with me and her again, in fact they were actually better than what I had hoped.

“So I was thinking that maybe we can go out tonight, maybe to the J-Spot, TOGETHER? I asked her

“Sure baby, that would be fun” she replied

“Where’s Matty today” I asked. I knew she had a 5 year old son with her ex-fiancé, and I knew that they were still pretty good friends, which I understood and was actually okay with. “Is he at Donovan’s” I continued

“No, he’s spending the weekend with Syd, Donovan is working on a case this weekend, and he’s going over there next weekend” she replied “Why?’ she questioned

“Oh no reason, I was just trying to see if you were free tonight, because if not, we could chill at the house” I answered. “Will you stay the rest of the day with me?”

“We’re good, the J-Spot is our plan for tonight. You want me to spend the day with you today?” she asked.

Taylor POV

“We’re good, the J-Spot sounds like a plan for tonight. You want me to spend the day with
you today? I asked

“Yeah, why not, I finally have you, now I want to spend as much time with you as possible” he replied “Is that so wrong?”

“No baby, nothing’s wrong with that, I know you can’t get enough of me” I laughed

“Haha, you think you funny huh?” he teased “But for real, no, I can’t get enough of you”

“Well, I’ll stay for a few hours, but then I have to head home so that I can get ready for tonight” I told him

“Ok, baby, that’s fine with me, only because I’m going to have you all to myself tonight”
he said kissing my neck

For the next few minutes, we just sat there and talked about all kinds of things,
Chris holding me in his arms and occasionally kissing my hair, or even making out with
me. In fact, we were making out when Trey, Tyga, and KMac returned from lunch.

“Oops, our bad, didn’t mean to disturb ya’ll” Trey laughed

“Now I see why neither one of ya’ll were hungry, you didn’t want food, you
wanted each other” Kevin chimed in.

“Well, it’s about damn time! It took ya’ll long enough to finally get to this point” Tyga said.

“Shut up Ty” I blushed

“For real Tyga, I agree with you, I thought Chris was just going to let her get away” Trey added

“Naw man, I couldn’t let her get away, not this one” Chris said kissing my cheek

“So, did you play her the song?” asked Kevin

“Yeessss, he played me the song, I loved it” I blushed

“Yeah, he’s been working on it for the past week or so. He called me last night like at
1 in the morning talking about he needed to complete it today” Ty added

“Awww baby, you did?” I smiled

“Yeah, I wanted it ready for you to hear when you got here” Chris tried not to blush.

“I’m just glad that ya’ll finally got it together” Tyga said sitting on the couch next to me.

“Ok love birds, we got work to do” Trey said laughing at the two of us cuddling

“Aight man, lets get to it then, got plans tonight.” Chris said getting up and giving
me a quick peck on the lips.

“Tay, you staying right?” Kevin asked me.

“Yeah, I’m staying for a lil while”

“Cool, lets get it then” Trey clapped

I sat there for a few hours listening to the beats being dropped and the guys
freestyling to random beats. Chris would roll over in his chair and kiss me every few minutes.
We all joked around and laughed with each other, just having a great time. I was happy that me and Chris finally decided to stop playing the games and actually give us a shot. He was my best friend, I could truly be my self when I was with him, I didn’t have to pretend to be somebody that I wasn’t just so he would like me, I just had to be me. Just the thought of him made me smile.

“Whatcha smiling at beautiful?” Chris said sitting next to me and snapping me out of my thoughts

“Nothing” I blushed

“Yeah, the thought of you makes me smile too” he said as though he was reading my mind, then softly kissing my lips. He pulled me close and I snuggled up to him, resting my head on his shoulder, and inhaling his scent. He softly rubbed my arm with his fingertips, slowly putting me to sleep. I could feel my eyes starting to close; just as my eyes closed, he kissed my hair. My phone started to vibrate, and I picked it up seeing that I had gotten a new text message from J

J: Hey sis, just checkin on you, you good?

Tay: Hey babyboy, yeah I’m good

J: Where you at? Talked to Syd, Matty still with her, so where r u?

Tay: I’m at the studio hanging out with Ty

J: Oh ok, you comin by the spot tonite?

Tay: Yeah, I’ll be there. Dinner at mom and dad’s 2morrow

J: Yeah I know, Syd told me. Hit me up later love you

Tay: Okay hun, love you too

I looked at my watch and noticed that it was getting late, I needed to go home and get ready
for my first night out with Chris as my boyfriend

“Hey babe, I’m going to go, I have to go get ready” I said looking up at him

“Aww, do you have to baby” he said giving me the puppy dog face

“Yes, babe I do, but I’ll see you later though, it’s only for a few hours”

“I know, so I’ll pick you up around 8?” he asked

“Yeah, that’s fine hun, I should be ready by then” I laughed

“What ya’ll doing tonight?” Tyga turned around and asked

“Nothing really, just going to the Spot” Chris replied

“That sounds like fun, ya’ll mind if we roll too?”

“Who is WE?” I asked with a half smile half frown

“Uhhh, me, Trey, and Kmac” Ty replied giving me the stupid face.

“OH! No, not at all, how about we meet ya’ll there around 9:30” I replied

“They must be going as a couple” said Trey nudging Ty

“Ya’ll are special! I’ll be back, I’m gonna walk Tay out” Chris laughed

“I’ll see ya’ll tonight then” I said going to give each one of them a hug; Tyga kissed me
on the cheek as he always does.

Chris walked me to my car, our fingers interlocked together and just talked like we always do. I had my keys in my hand and I unlocked the doors on my Range Rover. When we reached my truck, Chris opened my door for me and leaned in close, planting a soft kiss on my lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer, “That’s all I get?” I said biting my bottom lip.

“Nope” he replied leaning closer, wrapping his arms around my waist, this time planting a long passionate kiss on my lips, slowly slipping his tongue in my mouth allowing it to tangle with mine.

“Damn girl, you better go, before I won’t let you go.” he said pulling out of our kiss and biting his bottom lip.

“Ok baby, I’m going, we can pick this up later at my house” I teased biting my bottom lip seductively.

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep” he replied giving me a quick peck on the lips.

“I guess you’ll just have to see what happens then huh?” I giggled

“Ok then. Get going baby, so I can finish up here, and get back to you as soon as possible”

I got in my truck, and Chris closed the door. He leaned in the window and gave me another soft kiss on the lips. “I’ll see you later baby” I said.

“Ok beautiful” he replied. Another quick kiss and I was gone.
