A Night at Nandos
Chapter 3
I quickly drove home, exhausted.. I was still pondering whether or not i should call Niall, though..
He was very charming, but what if he was some psycho or a weirdo?!
I mean, who leaves a 500 dollar tip? I'm not complaining i swear, but it was just very fishy.
As i thought about it, i came to a resolution. I must call him. He gave me 500 dollars! I'll simply call him and thank him, and that could be the end of it. It's just a simple call...
...Or maybe i should text him.
NO. I need to woman up and call him properly.
I sighed, and parked. I got out and walked up the steps to our trailer home. The truth was my mother was working one job for our living, and 2 jobs for my school; i was working 2 for my school as well.
It still wasn't enough to pay for school, yet. BUT the 500$ certainly helped.
As i got to my room, i opened the drawer and took out my prized envelope. I had 9,000 saved up so far for my college education. I had wanted to put my money in the bank, but are accounts were closed years ago. Now i had 9,500.
I'm now only 5,500 short of my college education! Which is a lot i know, because i've been saving for years. I'm just really happy; over half way done.
Quickly opening my self phone, i fired off a text to Niall; making sure to seperate the 20 with his message on it from the others.
'hey'- me
I didn't get a reply for twenty minutes, until i heard a buzz.
'who is this' -niall
'its Skylar.. from Nandos.' -me
'OH. Hello, Skylar. :) How are you?' -niall
'Good, Good. I wanted to thank you for the generous tip! If you had still been there, i wouldn't have let you leave such a large sum. BUT thank you none the less. :) I really wish i could make it up' -me
'its no problem really.. although if you would like to make it up, you can meet me at this address tomorrow: 12942 halday drive' -niall
I thought about his text for a minute.. Should i meet him tomorrow? And HALDAY DRIVE? Those are the most expensive flats in England. They'd be most expensive in general, except for the Halday Country Houses beat them out.
'Alright, what time should i be over?' -me
I waited a minute, before he replied.
'be here at 4:30- 5. Oh and bring a bathing suit. :)'
