After moving to a new town Jackie Ember tries to re-create herself into a person others will like. She is tactless and has little knowledge on how to react to things due to her lack in emotion. But the key-reason is that she has always seemed to have a strange connections with something otherworldly which always seems to get in her way of leading a normal existence. Now, she will find out in this small town that normal, is a complete bore.
