I walked to my class smiling.
I actually was happy with life for once.
I got to my locker when a note fell out.
I picked it up.

He cheated. Jason. With Stephanie. That's what he does. Cheats. He played you, Teal. You had to know. From a friend.

I read it over and over.
The only words that stayed in my mind was He Cheated.
I ripped the note up and slammed my locker walking to class.
I took my seat and laid my head down.
He didn't...
He promised me!

I walked into the lunchroom and sat at my usual table.

"Hey, Teal."

I looked up and found Jason smiling at me.
I got up and left without saying a word.
I left him confused.
I walked out of the school and walked home.
I didn't care anymore.
I've tried desperately not to cut.
It's been the hardest fucking thing to do but I can't hold back anymore.
This one simple thing has pushed me over the edge.

Once I got home I walked up the stairs dropping my back on the floor in my room.
I walked into the bathroom and pulled open the cabinet above the sink grabbing the tin box.
I opened it revealing the razor blade i'd used plenty of times before.
I grabbed it and set the box down on the counter next to the sink.
I slid down to the ground against the sink and let the tears fall.
I felt it was time to see dad again.
I needed him.
I took a deep breath and pressed the blade to my wrist and drug it across as fast as I could.
I did this over and over.
Soon blood seeped out.
It didn't stop and that's exactly what I wanted.
I smiled letting the blade slip from my fingers hitting the tile floor.
The blood was being soaked up from the green rug on the floor I was sitting on.
Soon I began to get tired so I laid down letting the blood get soaked up from the rug.
I closed my eyes but heard a knock at the door.

"Teal?" Jason asked.
"Go away!"

The door was pushed open.

"What have you done?!" He was flipping out.
"What i've wanted to do for a long time. Don't save me. It's time I leave this cruel world."
I whispered closing my eyes.
"Don't go to sleep. Stay awake!"
"Why? Why can't you let me die? I'll be happy for once."

Soon I was being lifted into the air.
I blacked out soon after.
Or maybe I died?
One can only hope...
