Mike's POV
"can I come and pick you up?" I asked.
"sure," she replied. My heart skipped a beat. The thought of seeing her again made me smile.
"so how about in like and hour and a half?"
"mixing it up a little are we?"
I laughed, "see you then."
I hang up and set my phone on my chest. Suddenly I got a call. It was from Vic.
"Broski, where are you?" Vic asked.
"what do you mean?"
"mom's got all this food set up and we're waiting for you to get here for dinner. Bro were only off touring for another month. We gotta all eat diner together sometime."
Shit, diner with the family. "but I have a date with Kristi."
"I know, your crazy for her and blah blah blah, now get your ass down here and eat diner!"
Vic hung up. If I eat diner really fast and drive really really fast I can make it to Kristi's on time.
