Steps To Car
Kristi's POV
I had been sitting on the steps of my apartment building for a good 10 minutes. I wasn’t getting impatient, I was getting worried. I checked my phone, no messages or missed calls from Mike. I shivered, it was getting cold out.
Just then a car sped around the corner. It pulled up in front of my building and the window slowly rolled down.
"hey," Mike said.
"hey!"
I hopped into the car. We both quickly leaned forward and back into our seats.
"where are we going?" I asked.
"somewhere."
I looked into back seat and saw a little picnic basket. Cute.
"thanks for the flowers." I said putting my hand on Mikes arm. He had such a serious look when he drove, but it was broken by a smile.
"I was just hoping you weren't allergic." he laughed out.
