Throwing Stones at Glass Houses

Chapter 7

I headed towards the front door and opened it up. "Mom, I'm home," I said heading up the steps. I grabbed a long sleeve shirt from my closet and pulled it over my head covering up my arms. "How was the store honey," my mom called from downstairs. "Good," I said putting Jack's sweatshirt on my bed. I put on some more perfume and fixed up my hair a bit. I picked up my phone and looked at it. I had put Vic's phone number in already. I sat studying my phone. I picked it up and dialed Jack. "Hello," someone said on the other end. "I'm looking for Jack, who is this," I asked. "This is Chris. Give me a second and I'll get him," he said. About a ten seconds later I heard Jack. "Hello," he said. "Jack do you think you can come get me," I asked him sitting on my bed. "You want to hang with us now," he said. "Yeah," I said scratching the back of my neck. "I'll be there in a few. Love you babe," he said hanging up. Jack came and picked me up and we were on our way back to Zack's house. I walked in the house close behind Jack. "Stells," Rian said grabbing me at waist from behind. I smiled, "Hi Rian." Zack came up to me and hugged me, "Hey Stella." I hugged him back. "Hey." Jack introduced me to the rest of his friends and directed me to sit in between Jordan and Kellin. Kellin's arm magically slipped its way around my waist. "I'm Kellin," he said attempting to flirt with me. I looked at him, "Hello." He sat there using pick up lines on me. I watched as he cautiously slid his body closer to mine. "Kellin stop hitting on my sister," Jack said looking at us. Kellin sat back and tightened his grip on my waist a bit. "Why," Kellin said looking at Jack. "Because I say so," Jack said heading out of the room for a minute. Kellin pulled his arm from around my waist. I turned to look at him, "Don't listen to Jack. I really don't mind." His face lit up and he put his arm back around my waist. I sat back relaxing. Kellin pulled my head onto his chest and I sat there trying to just relax. I felt something wet dripping from my arm. "Dammit," I said sitting up. "What's wrong," Kellin asked. Christofer and Cameron both looked over as well. "My arms are bleeding, shit," I said standing up. My shirt that was white was now blood stained by my arms. "Jack," Jordan called up. "You're bleeding a lot," Cameron said going to roll up my sleeves. "Don't touch me," I snapped at him, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. It's just my arms hurt." "Let us take a look at least," Cameron said backing off a bit. Kellin, Jordan, Chris, and Cameron sat around me waiting for me to roll up my sleeves. Hesitantly I rolled up my sleeves revealing my many stitched up cuts. "Whoa, what happened," Jordan said looking at my arms. "I don't really feel comfortable talk about this with you guys," I said trying not to be mean about it. "Come on Stella. You can trust us," Kellin said rubbing my back. I swallowed hard, "How long you got," I asked. "As long as you need," Chris said coming back with a towel. I sat there and tried my best to explain everything I've ever been through up until today's little incident. I made sure to include my interesting situation with Alex. "That guys an ass hole," Kellin said wrapping his arms on me. "Stella," Jack said coming down the stairs. "Yeah," I said still sitting in Kellin's arms. "Kellin," Jack said looking at him. He let go and I couldn't help but smile a bit. "You're arms are bleeding again," Jack said looking at my arms. "The doctor told me that they were gonna bleed a bit and considering how many cuts I have, this much blood makes sense," I said wrapping the towels back around my arms. "You need to change into a new shirt," Jack said ruffling my hair a bit. "I don't have anything," I said looking at him. My shirt was soaked in blood. Cameron took off his shirt and handed it to me leaving him in a muscle shirt, "Here take this." "You sure," I asked him. "Yeah," he said. "Go change," Jack said pointing to the bathroom. I stood up and walked out of the room. "Stella," Zack said just as I was going to open the bathroom door. I turned around, "Yeah?" "I think we should talk about before," he said kind of uncomfortably. "Can we talk about this in a few minutes," I said. He scratched the back of his neck, "Yeah, um I'll just stand here. I went into the bathroom and took my blood stained shirt off and placed it in the sink. I ran out the sleeves and rinsed them with water trying to get out as much blood off them as I could. After I gave up trying to clean the shirt I put Cameron's t-shirt on. It sat big on my body. I took a hair tie off my wrist and tied it around the bottom of the shirt making it come tighter to my body. I opened the door holding the shirt in my hands. Zack handed me a plastic bag and I put the shirt in and handed it to Jack. "Now let's talk," Zack said leading me to his room. I sat on the edge of his bed and watched as he closed his door. He sat next to me and looked at me, "What was that before?" I looked at him, "I-I don't know," I stumbled over my words. "Did you feel it too," he asked me. "Yeah," I answered. He put his hand on my cheek. He leaned in and I did the same too. He pressed his forehead to mine. I bit my bottom lip. "Zack this is wrong. This is so wrong," I whispered. "Shhh," he said right before he pressed his lips to mine. We sat there kissing for a bit. I pulled away, "Zack this is wrong." He ran his fingers through his hair, "I'm sorry." I kissed him on his cheek, "Don't be." He hugged me, " I love you Stells," he whispered gently in my ear. "I love you too Zack," I said standing up and walking out of his room.
